Everything Has Changed.

Luna's P.O.V

I was still in a state of shock, excited but shocked. After all this time you would think that things could only get worse from here.

"This can't be." Jonathan says with wide eyes, almost a whisper.

"Did you really think that I would leave my boys behind Jonathan." She says with a smile on her face.

Donte' seems to be just as confused as excited he is. Standing there he only stares at his mother. Not knowing why to do.

I walk to stand next to him and hold his hand in mind, giving him comfort. He looks down at me and gives a slight smile.

He squeezes my hand, a silent thank you thank you that I understand.

"Are you gonna just look at her all day?" I whisper to him.

He turns to his father and with a straight face and stoic expression he says,  "You have no choice but to step down and declare me king. I have now found a perfect queen to stand by me and you have to one on your side, except your defeat."

His father looking around the room, searching and hoping for someone to stand with him. Without finding any help he nods his head in defeat and says, "I give up my crown and place upon you the title of king of the underworld."

"Well that was dramatic." Andreas says in an amused tone.

We all look at him, laughing slightly.

"Oh how I've missed my boys, look at you, all grown up and finding love." His mother says with a bright smile on her face.

"I guess this is where I leave you." Jonathan says, starting to walk away.

Stopping him is Donte's mother, placing her hand on his shoulder.

"Come with me, we can start over. I've been away from the picture for too long and I don't want to be without you." She says to him.

"But how could you want to be with me? After all I've done to keep you from them." Jonathan replies with a. Look of disbelief.

"You can't be serious." Donte' says.

"You can't stop her, if that's what she wants you must let her go. I doubt she'd leave us completely." Andreas says, placing his hand on Donte's shoulder.

I step back as she walks to them and wraps he arms around the both is them. Embracing them, not as a goodbye but a see you later.

"You boys are my everything, you may have not seen me but I have always been there. Watching you grow, watching the decisions you've made and I couldn't be prouder of both you." She says to them.

Unwrapping her arms from then she turns to Andras and holds onto his hands, she looks him in the eyes and says, "You may not be mine by birth but you will always be my son, I have loved and cherished you as such and that is the way it will stay."

Watching a tear fall down his face he blushes slightly as they embrace in a meaningful hug.

"I couldn't have gone through any of this without you Luna." Donte' says, standing in front of me.

"Yeah and most of it you wouldn't have had to if I didn't just allow you to take what was necessary." I say casting my eyes down.

"I would never feel the way I do now about everything or myself if it weren't for you. I'm glad your as stubborn as a goat, I wouldn't have been able to fall for you." She says.

Placing his hand under my chin he forces me to look up and meet his gaze. I don't see judgement in his eyes but love and adoration.

"You two really are good together." We hear Jonathan say.

"Oh please I'm gonna throw up, just stop it already you two, we got things to do." Andras says with a smile on his face.

Walking to Jonathan and grabbing his hand she gives one last look back at us before walking away with him.

"She will come back to see you guys." I say looking at them, squeezing Donte's hand.

"We know." They say at the same time before laughing.

"You two are so odd sometimes." I say laughing.

"Andras call Alec and Samuel here, as king I want them by my side and here in the castle when I make the announcement." Donte' says.

"Yea yeah whatever you say my lord." He replies teasingly before winking at me and walking away.

Giggling and smiling at him as he walks away I say, "He sure does have a way of me smile."

"Oh and I don't." Donte' says, pouting slightly.

"Don't be such a baby, you own my heart, that's a different feeling altogether." I say blushing as I poke his bottom lip that's sticking out.

"I will have someone show you to our room and I want you to get some rest before the announcement." He says, smiling.

"Can't I just sleep all day, I don't have to be there do I?" I ask.

"Of course you do. As King my people will know who I will be having by my side." He say in a serious tone.

"By your side?" I question.

"Yes by my side, as my queen I have the right too..."

"Your queen? I never agreed to this!" I yell slightly, interrupting him.

"Excuse me, you are and will be my queen. I didn't think I had to ask considering the circumstances." He says.

Grabbing my arm and fully pulling me out of the room and down the hallway past more doors.

"Let me the hell go you barbarian! I can walk!" I yell, trying to pull out of his grasp.

He opens a door and pushes me into a room before walking in behind me and locking the door.

I take steps back as he slowly stalks toward me.

"Don't you think for one second that I'd ever let you go. You are mine Luna, no one else's. You will be there for this announcement." He says sternly.

"And you can go to the damned thing on your own if you think that you can just do things like this without even talking with me first or even considering how I'd might feel." I say, looking into his eyes.

"As much I know your right I can't let you go and still must announce that I have found someone to be my queen. If you'd like I will not say that you are but only that I have chosen you to be." He say, sighing.

"Thank you, I just need a little time to think this through, I want to be with you but being your queen is another ball game that had a lot of responsibilities and enemies." I say.

I stroke his cheek with my hand as I state up into his eyes.

"Don't think for a second that I don't want this because I do, I just don't want to make any mistakes. I'm in a new world now." I say to him.

He walks away but now before stopping and saying, "You will be my queen Luna."

With determination he walks away, leaving me with my thoughts.
