relentless
Born into a world
of sin and slavery,
My mind is clouded
with doubt, fear and confusion
That clouds my vision
And obscures you
From my view

But as the thief
Comes like a roaring lion
Your authenticate me
as your property
You declare your
Ownership over me
That you paid for
on the cross

At the first opening of my eyes
You start your relentless pursuit
You firmly planted the seed
in my infant heart
And at the age of 2
you twirl me around
for my very first time.

Along the way
The thief Comes
and say hi.
Putting a blindfold on my heart
With clumsy excuses
And worthless muses.

In the caverns of my heart
You saw the seed of light
At the ripe age of 8
You started knocking on the door
Of my mansion sized heart.
When i opened up
You breathed your unfailing love
And unending grace over me
Not knowing I'll need it in the future

Unknowingly, I kicked you out.
Letting the lust of my youth
And the desires of my flesh
Get the better of me.

But despite my wrongdoing
You relentlessly pursue me.
