Despite all
Despite all
I'm just being me
Being the best
God's called me to be
Through my sorrow
And through my pain
He's given me
More than in this life
I can gain
He took my shame
Upon himself
And all I'll do
Is call his name
He placed my feet
On the Solid Rock
And just like Peter
He saved my life
But despite all else
In Him
I'll lose myself
Despite all else
In him
I gain myself
And despite all else
In Him
And only Him
I discover myself
