Kids From Yesterday {Frerard} (boyxboy)

{Chapter One}

Frank's POV

Mikey and I are sitting next to each other and discussing comic books during recess. We sit far away from the other kids, those kids are mean to us. They make fun of me because I'm short for a second-grader and because of my slight stutter. Mikey isn't in my grade though, he's in first-grade, but we're still friends. Mikey introduced me to another first-grader named Ray. He's pretty rad! He has a giant Afro!

Mikey has a brother in my grade named Gerard. He's taller than me by a lot, even though we're both eight years old. He's very outgoing, unlike me, I'm very shy around people. Gerard has medium length black hair and a little pointy nose. I can't believe he even befriended me, he's so cool. Gerard is kind of cute in my opinion, it's weird I'd even think that. My mommy always say that two guys can't date or anything, but this is different. I only find him cute, we're probably never going to date.

I see Gerard walking up to me, I try my best to look cool. I sit up straight and smooth out my shirt.

"Hey Frankie! Hey Mikes!" Gerard greets us.

"H-hey G-gee!" I say as best as I can, but my stutter prevents me.

"Yo Gee" Mikey greets Gerard.

"So, Frankie, my mom said that you can come over tonight for a sleepover! Ray will be there too!" He exclaims excitedly with a big smile on his cute little face. I tell him that I'll have to ask my mommy.

TIMESKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL

I walk with Ray back to our houses. He lives on the same street as me.

"Ray a-are you going t-to G-gerard's sleepover?" I ask him. I know Gerard said Ray would be there but I was just making sure.

"Of course dude! You?"

"I h-have to ask m-my mom if I c-can" I reply as we part ways to go home. I run up to my front door and quickly open it. I call out for my mommy and go into the living room.

"In the kitchen Frankie!" I hear my mommy call. I go into the kitchen.

"Mom, Gerard a-and Mikey a-are having a s-sleepover tonight. C-can I g-go?"

"Of course Frankie, will Ray be there too?"

"Y-yes" I reply as I quickly run upstairs to my room to pack my overnight bag.
