"Who the hell wrote that?". Martin Oliver, 39, asked his team.
"I didn't. Sheppard did", Mary Payson, 34, answered.
"Amateurs!", Martin sighed.
He smoked a cigarette.
"We need a story", Martin said.
"How about the Lover's Lane murders?", Mary asked.
"Fine, it's better than hearing about hearing about hack writers", Martin answered, and he smiled.
