Budapest, Hungary
Romanoff

The fight was moving pretty slow in the beginning, probably because it's was six against four, and one of us being a god and all. Later though, Coulson called Skye and Lincoln for backup, and they immediately ran out of the Heli-Carrier.

"Set your weapons to 'stun.'" Tony calls out, not wanting to hurt anyone too badly, even though he probably broke one of Coulson's ribs by a single repulser ray. "And Thor, when you're in the middle of smacking someone with your hammer, try not to crush their skull."

"In Asgard, that is what we call a mere poke."

"Then poke away." He replies, not really caring what things were called in Asgard. Things were getting pretty intense. Everything was hand to hand combat now, even though most of us had guns. Of course, except for the three weird kids, having the powers of moving things, vibrating things, and shocking things. They were just dandy.

"You just had to call in the inhumans, didn't you?" Cap breathes heavily from all the adrenaline.

"Just making the playing field fair." Agent 13 shrugs before avoiding more of his hits.

"Surprised you didn't bring Morse." I pant, round kicking Hill on the side, which was weird. I never aimed for anything but the head or neck.

"We came here to get Barton, not piss you off." She flips me to the ground, but I quickly get back onto my feet.

"What do you mean?"

"Coulson didn't tell you?" She asks, shocking me that we were actually having a normal conversation while fighting to the near death.

"He interrogated Morse. She admitted that she met up with Clint after he left for his...unannounced mission." My mind and body filled with anger, but I knew I couldn't take it out on any of these agents. They were SHIELD's and people I know. If I did, three of them would be dead.

"Shit." I hear Tony say in the background.

"Tony, got a problem?" Sam asks in the heat of the fight.

"Power to 400 percent capacity. Now how about that?" I turn around for a second to see him falling, about to hit the ground.

"Thor." Cap orders, and he does as told, catching Tony out of the sky.

"What the hell happened, Stark?"

"Surprise! The guy who controls electricity can actually do something. What a shocker." He says sarcastically.

"Don't expect us to laugh at your shitty pun."

"I thought you wouldn't."

It came to a point where no one was fighting an individual person. It's was the Avengers against SHIELD. Tony was back at the Avenjet fixing his suit. While he was doing that, the rest of us were out here, fighting until we're out of breath.

"What're we fighting for again?" Sam sarcastically tells us how long this was taking.

"Funny, Sam." I reply with the same amount of sarcasm. He was right though. The climax of the battle ended eight minutes ago. It went up to the point where everyone was fatigued and we ended the whole fight. Everyone went back inside where they came from except for me, Steve, Coulson and Hill. Tony came back outside too.

"Romanoff, let SHIELD and Director Fury take care of this." Coulson tries reasoning again.

"No, I just have to talk to Clint and-" I reach for my necklace when I mention Clint when I notice...

"Natasha?" Coulson tilts his head, not knowing why I stopped.

"No, no, no." I drop my hand down to my side, and walk around the small area, scanning the ground.

"Are you looking for something?" Hill asks me.

"Please, it has to be somewhere. It has to be here." I trail off. After checking four more times if it was here, I gave up, not finding the small silver piece of metal. I have my back faced to the four of them, and I clench then release my fists, placing my right hand on the spare gun kept in my holster.

"Natasha." I felt Cap's eyes on my hand wrapped around the gun. I couldn't cry. Not right now. Not at all. Emotions are for the weak. All emotions, except anger. I turn around aiming the gun at I don't even know who. I don't even know why. Coulson and Hill pull out their guns as a reflex. Tony and Steve immediately hold my arms back, so I wouldn't be tempted to shoot anything or anyone.

"What the hell?" Tony says in a tone that asks me why I did that.

"It's gone. I lost it." I try not to sob, but it was clear that I was.

"What?" Cap asks. I lift my head up, showing my face with tears, and my neck empty. Steve let go of me once he saw that it was gone. My silver arrow necklace was gone.

"Oh, no."

"It was, I think, the last thing I have that reminds me of him. I wouldn't have lost it during the fight...if the fight never happened." My sadness turns into anger, making me unintentionally throw a knife three inches into the Heli-Carrier. My hand reaches the gun I dropped on the ground again. The boys try restraining me, but I push them away.

"Put the gun down." Coulson talks softly. Tears continue to run down my cheeks, but I make no sound, keeping a stern face. Then an something hits the ground between us, exploding the tiniest bit, making us roll backwards, away from it. I wipe my face with my sleeve, and walk to the small object laying on the ground.

An arrow.

With a note. I read it out loud.

I don't like you fighting like this. Both of you need to stop fighting. Don't look for me. Don't track me down. Pretend this is my resignation. Pretend this all never happened. I just want this to stop. I won't come back, but I swear, I'm not doing anything bad. I swear by the assassins code. You'll never hear from me again. I promise, believe me.

*cries forever*

sorry for the really crappy chapter guys, but I needed the first part to lead into Natasha losing her necklace and going full hell mode. Is anyone else sad how Clint didn't actually mention Natasha in the letter? Yeah me too, even though I wrote it lmao.🌚

THE NEXT CHAPTER I hope will be way better.😜
