Chapter 25

[Cheetahpelt's POV]

I don't know how long I've been kept by these cats now. I had tried to put a claw mark on the walk every time I woke up but sometimes I forgot. I had at ten claw marks but it felt like I had been there longer. Lion had kept bringing me prey once a day. It made me hungry but I soon got used to it after a while.

Lion just started to head over when I saw a flash of brown and black fur tackle her down. I smiled knowing who it was. Tigerstripe had finally came for me. I heard a couple of yowled and went as far as I could in the den and pushed against the vines that kept me in the den trying to get in. That's when I saw Shinyfall come over quickly and claw at the vines.

She helped me out and I got up on a branch and looked to the fighting. I couldn't handle it but I didn't want to say anything. Lion and Tigerstripe kept battling fiercely. On the other side Leaf and Branch where teamed up with each other against Shinyfall and Angelwing. Feather was stalking around trying to surprise Tigerstripe. I couldn't let them get hurt any longer.

"Stop!" I yowled at the top of my lungs making a couple of birds fly off from the trees around me which made me jump. The fighting stopped and that's what made me ecstatic. They were no longer fighting. Tigerstripe crept slowly away from Lion as Shinyfall and Angelwing did the same away from Leaf and Branch.

"Please don't fight. I hate it when cats fight. Please. Lion, you can take your group and come back with us. Our clan will welcome you. You can also get healed there. Please just stop the fighting." I told them with big eyes as I jumped down from the tree branch and landing softly on the ground. They all stared at me. I looked to Lion to see what she would say.

"Leaf? Branch? Feather?" Lion asked her friends. I turned my head to them and they all nodded slowly looking to me and then back to Lion. "Then I will come back with you and your friends. I am sorry for the fight though." She said and dipped her head to me. I smiled and looked to Tigerstripe, Shinyfall, and Angelwing.

"Thank you for coming to save me. I would never of left if it wasn't for you three." I told them and smiled to Shinyfall. I had never realized how beautiful she really was. She was really stunning in the light that reflected off of her fur.

"Let's go then." Tigerstripe said and walked out of the small camp they had set up. I let him go and then Angelwing. Lion followed then Leaf. Branch was after her then Feather was last for them. Shinyfall and I were at the back of the group.

"Thanks for getting me out of that den." I told her quietly and softly. She just nodded and kept walking. I wasn't really sure what to say after that so I kept walking by her.

"Your welcome. I wasn't going to leave you in there." She said at last. She had a small smile on her face as she looked at me. That just made me jump for joy inside.

"Alright." I just nodded not really sure what to say after that. We kept walking for silence after that not saying a single word to each other. It hurt me but I knew it was no use to try and talk to her if I had no idea on what I wanted to say.
