"This isn't the last time you'll hear my name." The girl said to the guy that she had put so much trust in, only to have it thrown back in her face.
"Oh sweetheart isn't that what everyone thinks? That the guy will end up regretting losing the girl? I didn't peg you for the clichés but I guess I was wrong." He had such an ugly smirk on his face, she was wondering how she ever found him attractive because he was nothing but ordinary. Ordinary and useless, because no matter how pretty he may have seemed, his soul was the color of smog, covering and destroying anything pure.
"Oh, I don't think you'll ever regret losing me," she smirked right back, "I just thought I should tell you that no matter where you go you'll hear my name again. Maybe not soon, but eventually after I'm nothing but a memory for you, you'll hear my name. You'll hear my name, maybe not from a movie or from some big show, but I'm going to make it somewhere in life. I'll make it far enough for my name to be known for something good and kind, and you'll be known for nothing. You're going to end up just being a face in the endless crowd of people going through the motions of life. So this is nothing like a cliché darling, this is the honest to god truth that someday you'll reason that I have no need for you. You'll never influence my art; you'll end up just being a hazy memory of this dude that was kind of annoying. I just thought you should now that, because you may have thought that you had played me or broken my heart, but you didn't I feel no different and I could honestly be okay never seeing you again because I have never needed you and I never will need you." He just stared at her blankly and watched as she got up and walked away, before she was gone though she turned around and said, "Have fun hearing about me, just know you won't be hearing it from me." With that she walked away, and he realized that she was right, he would probably hear about her sometime in the future. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he also realized that she would never hear of him again.
