Dear Cloud- I remember you

~~Jin's POV~~
Jungkook has finally come back to school... I couldn't be happier.

The only problem, he hasn't wanted to go back home and solve the problem.

I just wish he'd want to fix his problem...

"Jin hyung, I forgot my medicine at my house. Can you go to my house and get it?" Jungkook asked me.

"What medicine...?" I asked him, suspiciously.

"Medicine prescribed by my doctor..." He said assuring me it wasn't some type of drug.

"Okay... What is it for so I can go get it?"

"Depression." He said bluntly.

Ok, this is it. I'm fed up with him not wanting to get anything fixed.

"Ok, but you are coming with me."

"Are you crazy?? That's too dangerous!" Jungkook raised his voice, fear filling his eyes.

He's right... I'm going to have to do this another way.

"Ok, I'll go now." I headed out and walked to his house. Once I arrived, I hesitantly knocked on the door.

"Hello?" Thank god it was his brother who answered. Wait, no, I gotta talk to his parents.

"Uh, your brother said he left his medicine here... So I came to get it." I told Junghyun.

"Ok, I'll go get it."

As he walked off, I shouted, on accident, "Wait, stop!"

"What?" He asked, eyes widened knowing what's going to happen next probably.

Right then, Jungkook's father came in.

"Who the hell is yelling?" When he saw me, his eyes widened. Luckily, he didn't seem drunk this time.

"Me." I said, trying to be brave. I have to fix Jungkook's problem.

Before any of them spoke up, I walked in. "How about I cook something for you guys?"

The mother of Jungkook walked in at that time, "and why would you do that."

"I'd like to have a discussion with you."

Surprisingly enough, they let me into the kitchen and I started cooking what I could with the ingredients they had.

Once I was done, I placed it on the table and they each took a seat. I made a plate for Junghyun too to be nice.

I let 10 minutes of them eating to go pass and I decided to bring up the topic, "Anyway, how do you feel about Jungkook?"

They both stopped. "Why would you bring that thing up?" The father asked.

"He isn't a thing." I said, as nicely as I could. I don't think it worked.

"He doesn't deserve to be in this family, keep him." His mom said.

"What kind of parents are you to just abuse your child and let him run away and did you know, he's even cutting himself now? Or are you too busy to even care about your son at all?" I asked them, making up the part of him cutting himself. Unless he is and I don't know.

Where is this confidence coming from?

"Stop talking to us like that. He's not a good child. He misbehaves. He doesn't get good grades, he likes dancing and singing so much that he can't even focus on school." The dad said.

"Really? While he was absent from school for a week, I'd bring the work to him and he'd finish it all, seemed like he had pretty good grades to me. And he doesn't misbehave. He's a good student at school too." I replied to him.

"Anyway, shouldn't you guys fix your drinking problems. I think that would help a lot." Why do I have all this confidence. I feel like dying on the inside because I'm so scared.

That's when his dad looked away and the mom started to have tears in her eyes. Uh?

"You don't think we know that? We are trying to fix that now... That's the reason why I told Jungkook to not come around here until I was ready and why I said there would be a bigger consequence. It was because I was scared what I would do to him." Tears were flowing down her eyes. That was when I realized Jungkook, standing right behind her.

"Jungkook!" I shouted. "What are you doing here??"

"You... We're gone... A long time, I came to check on you, but the door was open and I heard eomma..." He said, looking at the ground, still trying to process what she said.

"Jungkook..." His mom and dad turned around to look at him.

"I understand if you don't forgive us, but how about you come back. We are going to keep trying and trying to be nice parents to you... I'm sorry." His dad told him.

I'm surprised it was this easy, but then again, they've been trying to stop their nasty habits while he was gone.

Jungkook wasn't even a bit sad or anything like his parents, he looked at me and back at them, "Ok... Jin hyung, I'm going to stay here..." Was he trying to face his worst fear?

I nodded, "I'll see you tomorrow."

He walked me outside before saying goodbye. Before I left, he grabbed my hand to stop me.

He leaned up and kissed me. "Thanks for everything, hyung." He said.

"I didn't do much. No need to thank me."

He shook his head, "I'm still saying thanks. Anyway, I gotta go inside. Wish me luck." He waved and went inside his house.

I'm happy.

I'm happy.

I am happy...

I kept telling myself that. I tried to be happy. But when I turned around, I saw Ki Nari's younger sister, just by a year, staring at me.

All the memories of Ki Nari started rushing through the my head again...
