Chapter 4

I wake up to my alarm clock ringing, I open my eyes and look around to find myself lying on the floor against my bedroom door, I must have fallen asleep here last night. I get up and turn my alarm off, I walk off, I walk over to my cupboard and grab some clothes. I go into the bathroom and look in the mirror, my makeup is all smudged and you could tell i had been crying. I have a shower then get dressed, I redo my makeup and hair. I still felt really bad about what dad and I had said to each other last night so I thought it be best to avoide him today. I look out my bedroom window to look at the driveway, I see no vehicles so the cost is clear, I head downstairs. I get downstairs and I look around to see no ones there, I sigh in relief. I look in the fridge and find that there is some new food, "finally!" I say with a wide expession, I get some food and start making breakfast. I finish eating breakfast and check the time, I have 10 minutes before I have to leave to go to school, so I decide to go into the living room and lay myself on the couch and watch some TV. As I lay there watching TV I get a text. I see a message from Brian and start to reply:

Brian: Hey there beautiful, can't wait to see you today. :)

Me: I can't wait to see you too, I think seeing you today will make me feel better.

Brian: Your not feeling good?

Me: I'm a little upset, I got into an argument with my dad last night and it made me feel like shit, so seeing you today should make me feel a little happier.

Brian: A little happier? :/

Me: Fine, a lot happier :)

Brian: Yay! I gtg but tell me about what happened last night at school okay?

Me: Okay I will, cya.
I get to school and head straight to class, I have English first which means I have class with Tash... Great.

I walk into class and see that Tash isn't there yet, I walk over to the back corner and sit down. A few minutes later I see Tash walk in, as she walks in she's looking down at the floor and her hair is covering her face, as she gets closer to me I get a clearer view of her face, as I was looking at her face I notice she has a black eye, but I don't look for long because Tash turns around and sits in a chair in front of me. I was contemplating whether I should ask her if she was okay, I mean I was still pretty pissed at her for what she did to Brian last night but I was also really curious about her black eye. "hey Tash... you okay?" I ask nervously, "yeah fine, fucking dandy" she replies without looking at me. "Tash your eye... I can't help but think... was it Mick-" she cuts me off by turning around to face me with a death stare, "just fuck off okay, I know you don't give a shit about me so stop pretending" she says. I give her a shocked look and then look down. "Oh and I know you saw Brian and I kiss last night, and I saw how sad you looked and I thought I would just tell you, he really enjoyed it" she whispered harshly to me. I look up to her face and see the smug look she had on her face, I flipped her off and she turned around to face the front of the class.

    Lunchhad finally came around and I couldn't wait to see Brian, I went down to thecafeteria and sat at the table we usually sat at, soon enough Brian and Vickyfind me and sit down too. "Hia" Vicky says with a wide grin on her face, "Howwas class?" she added. "Shit and really awkward." I say looking down, Brian andVicky look at each other "Why!?" they both raised their voice at the same time.I look back up to them, "Well everything was fine until Tash walked into class.I saw that she had a black eye and I wanted to ask her about it. I asked her ifshe was fine and she said she was, but when I asked her about the black eye shegot so angry at me. She told me to f off and said that I didn't care about her.She also mentioned Brian..." I replied. Brian looked at me with an odd expression,"was it about the kiss?" Vicky said. Brian and I look at Vicky wondering howshe knew "how do you know?" Brian asks. "Well... almost the whole school knowsabout it. The story goes Tash tried making out with the new kid (Brian) but wasinterrupted by Micky, (Tash's supposed boyfriend) It is said Micky walked offbut Tash followed him and tried to ask him to forgive her but instead he hither and called her a whore before spitting on her and walking away..." Vicky sayswith a sad look on her face. "Oh" Brian and I say at the same time. Brianturned to me and asked me what Tash said about him, "Tash told me that she knewI was watching you two kiss and that she could see the sad expression on myface. She also told me that... that you enjoyed kissing her." I say lowering myface. Brian leans across the table and puts his hand over mine to get myattention, "When she kissed me I felt nothing." He said looking into my eyeswhich made me blush intensely. "AWW OMG THIS IS SO CUTE!" Vicky yells which makesBrian and I jump back which was causing some students to look over at us, "oppssorry" Vicky whispers and we all burst into laughter.
