Even though I caused the damage I couldn't let her suffer alone
I ran inside and saw her writhing
I pulled towards me and clutched her while whispering comforting words into her ear as I buried my head in the crook of her neck
We just stood there for awhile as she calmed out
But then she sobbed
Those heart wrenching sobs came out of her throat and I comforted her telling myself I had to stay strong
Jane POV
I stayed in his arms sobbing
I was expecting him to throw me away
But he held me till I stopped
Then I struggled to get out of his grip
He left me soon and I took several steps back till my knees hit the bed and buckled
Just as I was about to fall he caught me ," are you alright " he asked
I just nodded my head unable to speak and sat on the bed
I expected him to leave but he stood like a statue staring at me , analysing me
" why are you acting like this " I asked and heard his sharp intake of breath
Then he kneeled down in front of me caught my chin and lifted it until I was staring into his deep blue oceans full of regret like after a storm
Then with his warm breath fanning my face he told me 6 words that made my heart stop and my eyes to widen
" I know what happened that night "
