I glanced at the clock, it was 11:15 pm.
Damn, and she’d been awake for hours now.
I strode into the cafeteria to grab a cup of coffee and an assortment of her favorite foods.
I knew very well that despite her small size Casey ate as much as a truck driver and being on a drug induced stupor for the past two days wouldn’t have helped.
I smiled to myself as I approached the door.
I was about to enter the room I had locked Casey in, tray in hand when I thought better of it.
I went back to the adjoining office and placed the tray on my desk then walked to the door again.
I could barely control the rush of adrenaline I felt.
I knew without a doubt she would attack me when I opened the door.
I couldn’t wait.
