40. Eddie's Big Step Part 3

Blake POV

"Mom , I don't want to see that man" I say at the table

We were waiting for Loren and Eddie and Briella

"Blake you messed up , he makes her happy so let her be happy, I'll be back" My dad says getting up

"Blake , you should just forget what happened earlier between you and her , she moved on and maybe you should too" My mom places her hand on mine

"But I love her.."

"If you loved her that much Blake, then you wouldn't have cheated on her"

"I didn't-"

"Hi Gail!" Briella says walking over to us

"Hello sweetheart, where are Loren and Eddie?"

"They're coming , hello Blake" She smiles and gives me a hug

Eddie and Loren walk up to us hand in hand, she was smiling and she looked genuinely happy. Maybe my mom was right..

Loren POV

"Look I know you're probably still not over Blake-" Eddie stops me before we walk in

"Eddie-"

"Loren I saw the way he looked at you , the way he looks at you , he still loves you"

"Eddie , that doesn't mean I love him. I love you okay? Don't worry about Blake , we're just-"

"Friends?" He asks

"Yeah , I guess" I smile and kiss him "You have nothing to worry about"

"I just, I don't want to lose you Loren , you're the best thing that has ever happened to me"

"You too" I smile and we walk into the restaurant where we spot the Griffins and Briella

"Why hello? Look at you gorgeous!" Gail stands up and hugs me

"Hi Gail, you look lovely" I hug her and she smiles "Hello Mr.Redmayne" she hugs Eddie

"Oh please, call me Eddie and you look stunning Mrs.Griffin" He shakes her hand and she smiles

Blake stood up and he smiled at me "So this is it?" He whispered

"What are you talking about?"

"I will always love you.." He kisses my forehead and walks away

"Blake?" I called after him

"Just let him go sweetie, he wasn't feeling so well" Tommy says and I turn around to face him

"Are you sure? I-"

"Loren come sit sweetheart, don't worry about him" Gail smiles at me and I smile back and sit next to Eddie , he smiles at me and kisses me

"I love you"

"I love you too Eddie"

& I did , I loved him more than ever

"So you just left?" DJ asks handing me a beer

"Yeah , I couldn't-"

"Face the fact that you lost her" that hurt.

"As much as I hate to say it , yes"

"Blake , if you two are destined to be together then things will happen without you even noticing"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean if you're love is true then you two will be together in the end"

"It feels like I lost her completely man" I take a sip of my beer

"I doubt that , you guys kissed and she told you she chose you but I honestly think she was just confused , you know girls"

"Yeah thanks for the help DJ"

"I didn't mean it like that, just let her do her thing and you do yours , take care of that damn baby you're having with Ciara"

"Once that baby arrives I'm having it tested"

"You really don't think it's yours do you?" He chuckles

"Nope , it's not mine. We didn't have sex DJ"

"Whatever you say man" He laughs and I take another sip

Loren POV

Dinner with Gail and Tommy was fun. We shared lots of laugh and Gail told me that I did good with Eddie. Eddie and Tommy got along quite well and Gail adored him. After our dinner we walked outside and me and Gail talked for a while..

"Sweetheart , is something wrong?" She asks

"I'm worried, about Blake? Why'd he leave like that?"

"Loren , I think it's just best if you two moved on"

"Gail I-"

"Loren princess?" Eddie walks over with Tommy and Briella , they had huge smiles on there faces

"I couldn't wait anymore , I" He takes out a tiny box from his left pocket "Your sister helped me earlier , I was nervous in how I would ask you and what ring I would get you and she chose this one" He opens it and it was a beautiful ring "She said your mother had one that looked just like it and I knew this was the ring. Loren I love you and I want to spend my whole entire life with you , you make me smile uncontrollably and you , you amaze me everyday , how incredible you are and how strong you are , you're the woman I've been waiting for you" He gets down on one knee and I let my tears fall , I put my hand over my mouth and he smiles

"Will you marry me Loren London?"
