Chapter seven: My house

  I rubbed my eyes and sat up.

I looked around my room and realized how much of a mess it was.

I just shrugged it off and went on my phone.

2 message notifications;

Ethan✌🏻️: Hey want to hangout today?

Ethan✌🏻️: I am really bored 😩

I smiled.

I think I am crushing on this Ethan guy.

We are basically the same person.

We have a lot of things in common.

I like him.

Wait no...

I love him.

: Me too😭 come over to my place! I'll text u the address!

I quickly sent it and laid my phone on my dresser.

I got up and went downstairs.

"Mom!?" I yelled.

No response.

Perfect.

I ran back upstairs and got ready.

I looked out my window to see a car pull up in my driveway.

I watched as Ethan got out with a rose in his hand.

Aww!

I ran down my stairs as the door rang.

I answered it and smiled.

"Hey beautiful! I got you something" Ethan says handing me the rose.

I blush, "Your so sweet Ethan!"

I smell the rose. Mmm.

"thank you." I say.

"Anything for you" he says smirking.

I giggle and open the door waving him inside.

He walks in and looks around.

"Nice house" he says.

I smell the rose again and shut the door.

"Thank you" I say as I make my way to the kitchen.

"So what did you plan for us today?" Ethan asks following me.

"How about that movie?" I say turning my head and winking at him.

I walk over to the little closet in the kitchen and grab a vase.

"Okay I'll be honest, I've never seen Carrie" Ethan says.

I giggle, "It's not that scary I promise"

He laughs, "My friend said that about Insidious"

"Well, trust me" I say.

I put water in the vase and stick the rose in it.

"I trust you" he says.

I turn around.

"Well let's go then" I grab his hand and lead him into my bedroom.

"My moms not here don't worry" I say smirking at him.

He chuckles.

I grab my laptop and plop onto my bed.

I pat the spot next to me.

Ethan sits down.

I quickly get onto Netflix and pick the movie.

I look over to see Ethan examining my room.

"It's messy sorry" I say.

He laughs, "No, it's just I've never been in such a purple room" he says.

I giggle, "I painted and decorated it when I was in 5th grade sorry".

"I think it's cute" he says.

I smile and click the movie.

I set my laptop down on top of my thigh and Ethan's.

"You can take your shoes off Ethan" I giggle.

He slips his shoes off.

I lay back onto my pillow adjusting the laptop.

Ethan plops down next to me putting his arm around me and moving me closer to him.

I snuggle into him and the movie begins.

"Well that was a harsh ending" Ethan whispers with the covers on him.

He had freaked out about the whole movie.

"Haha" I say.

"I thought you said it wasn't scary!" Ethan says.

I laugh, "oops"

He frowns.

"Look, I forgot about those scenes" I say.

He shakes his head.

"Whatever" he playfully says.
