He is my best friend.
In my head at least.
No one likes me;
They push me around
And call me crazy.
Am I crazy or ugly
Like they say?
I can trust Derek
He doesn't lie
He accepts me
And he listens.
Maybe I'll one day move up
And get a real friend.
Perhaps someone nice
And honest
And kind.
I will keep on optimistic.
