🌠 Chapter 11:  Whoops 🌠

I walked straight ahead passing my locker, I tried to blend in with the crowd but him being Matthew

He spotted me and pulled me by the waist so I came stumbling towards him, suddenly I felt a tension between us,

I felt his heartbeat and his chest rising up and down, I stared at his green eyes they were blank and emotionless

His large warm hands were wrapped around my waist,

I missed this, I missed his presence I missed everything, I felt my eyes tearing up, why am I so emotional?

I was the first to pull away, he studied me for a second I quickly ran away, I was busy looking at the ground trying to blink my tears away, after bumping into a few people and muttering a sorry, I finally made it outside to a special place that was pretty far away from people,

Once I got there I sat down and cried, I brought my knees up to my chest and buried my face inside it and let out muffled screams

This was how much Matthew affected me, it hurt so badly I couldn't take it, I stuck my hand in my pocket and searched for my phone

Then I called my mom, she picked up on the first ring,

"Hey honey!" She said in a cheery voice

"m-om...can y-ou pi-ck me up please" I said croakily

"what's wrong dear?" She said overly concerned

"J-ust p-ick me up pl-ease" I said quietly

"Ok be there in 5min" she said quickly

I hung up and leaned against the brick wall, this place is where I used to go when I wanted to be by myself, it was small and dimly lit, it revealed a little bit of the field but it was well kept and well hidden

I stood up and quickly made my way to the school entrance, I got a few stares and whispers, great all I need is to be the centre of attention

I ignored them and made my way to the carpark, I saw 5 figures heading towards me, I also saw my moms Mercedes, I wiped some tears away, I made the decision to walk to my moms Mercedes

"Dani!" I heard some familiar voices shout, I opened the car door, they were coming closer

"Mom just drive" I whispered she did as told and starting driving away, In the rear view mirror I could see them chasing behind me, "honey your gonna have to explain to me what happened" I nodded and put my head in the cold window

The ride home was silent but I didn't feel like talking or anything, The large gate opened and my mom parked inside one of the garages, I looked over to the empty spaces, realizing my car was still at school,

"Oh I'm going to go back and get your car" my mom said reading my mind, I half smiled and opened the car door "oh I was actually going to give you a surprise but you don't seem like in the best mood" she said as she opened her side

I simply shrugged and opened the double door to the house "surprise!" I jumped back, I then smiled realising  who it was

"Annie!" I exclaimed giving her a hug, she returned the hug, I missed her so much! She was my one and only Nannie, we offered her a holiday to Australia for a month so she's been off, she came back early though, this must have been the surprise my mom was telling me about, she knows how close me and Annie are.
