"Uh hey dani" Matthew said awkwardly scratching his head

I blinked a couple of times to make sure reality wasn't messing with me, okay so maybe I expected something aka Matthew

shock was my main feeling at the moment

"Yoohoo dani" Matthew says waving his hand in the air trying to lighten up the tension between us

I inwardly cringe, seriously how can he be so calm after running out in such a distressed way

"M-Matthew" I manage to croak out

Shouldn't I be angry or pissed for what he did, I mean he practically ran out and can't forget that he didn't bother to leave some sort of message

"Yup that's my name, uh anyways I ordered some pizza" Matthew says with a goofy grin, he moves around

I was somehow able to nod still speechless from his sudden appearance, emotions were running in my brain and I couldn't help but feel nostalgic

I stayed frozen in my spot, my brain not wanting to control these lousy excuse for feet,

I counted to ten and took a deep breath, I looked up and scanned the hotel room Matthew was now seated in the small arm chair in the corner, he was tapping away on his phone, his face looked genuinely happy, I watched his sea green eyes skim over his phone screen, his mouth tugged upwards into a smile

I let out a quiet groan and finally got my feet to move, I grabbed a pair of Pajamas from my suitcase and trudged to the bathroom not taking a second glance towards Matthew.

Why did I let him go closer to me? Better yet why did I go closer? Now I'm completely torn apart and have no control

I woke up as soon as our hotel alarm thing went off, I sat up and and stretched out my limbs, I turn my head to the side and I see Matthew sleeping on the floor

I feel butterflies erupt in my stomach and my chest tightens, I move closer towards his side and peer at his sleeping face
