"Ooo! This Pat Benetar outfit is going to be killer!" smiled Donna.

"I hope it gets Greg's attention!"

"It probably will. Just have hope."

"Hope is all I have left. Oh, shit! We need to go to home" I said, glancing at the time.

"Oh, yeah!"

I bought our outfits and drove back home. My work outfit was on my bed already. I called my mom.

"Hey, sweetie! What's up?" She said.

"Are you almost home?"

"Yeah! I'm pulling in the driveway."

"Okay!"

I hung up my phone and walked downstairs. My dad came into house looking traumatized.

"Dad? Are you okay?" I asked.

"Uh...yeah. Sweetie, can you help Bean with his reading." He said as my mom came in.

"What's wrong with dad?" asked Donna as Bean hugged me.

"Something happened at the carwash." She said.

"Was it those male cheerleaders from my school?" I asked.

"Uh...yeah. They cleaned the car." She chuckled

"Now I get it!" laughed Donna.

"I'm going to start dinner and Donna wash your clothes. Juliana do what your dad said." She said.

"Okay!" said Donna.

"Come on, Bean!" I smiled as I took his hand.

"Are we reading?" smiled Bean.

"Yeah!" I smiled.

Bean smiled as we walked to the living room. I picked up a book and sat down. Bean hopped on my lap.

"Okay! What does the title say?" I asked.

"Um...Tunie D. Tones...(Junie B. Jones.)"

"No. Sound it out."

"J-j...Junie!"

"Good! Read the rest!"

"Junie B.?"

"Yeah! Go on!"

"Junie B. J-Jones!"

"Yes! Bean, you got it! Give me a high five!"

He gave me high five and giggled. I hugged him. He tried reading the first chapter and mom called us for dinner. She started talking about Lenny's party while Bean was eating butter.

"This is the best vanilla pudding I've ever had." said Bean as he brought a spoon of butter to his mouth.

"That's butter, son." said my dad.

I giggled and Donna began eating. My mom cleared her throat.

"Roxanne decided the theme is the 80's!" She smiled.

I gave Donna a high five. Our dad smiled.

"The 80's! That was 70 years ago!" said Bean.

I snorted as dad dropped his fork on his plate. Bean looked at him. I finished dinner. I got ready in my work outfit. I drove to the Ice Cream House. Someone was training me as Dickie was training Greg.

"I don't care who your parents are! You screw up I fire you! You too, missy." said Dickie as I nodded.

"Yes, sir." I said.
