I'd be lying if I said it
doesn't bother me,
that you are still
friends with her. Even
though you say you'll
get back with her
Never.
Maybe it's just that
I remember all too
well the look you had
when you talked about
your love for her. Not
that I can blame you.
She is so beautiful and
intriguing, just all the
things that I'll never
Be.
She has a part of your
past that I can't change.
She even has a part of
your present. Sometimes
I wonder if you still want
Her.

The Staggered Poems
PoetryIMPORTANT READ THIS TO UNDERSTAND: This is a series of poems that I have written in a form that I call Staggered. This means that the title and the words kicked out to the side and bolded make a sentence that summarizes the whole poem.
