Chapter 32: Three Deadly Tests

Zane's P.O.V.

We have the sword, we have Airjitzu, and it's Scroll. While we waited for Misako and the Senseis decipher the location of the tomb we listen to how my sister and Cole began to date.

My sister, dating my (metaphoric) brother, they make a good couple, but I can't help but feel awkward about it. That's what Paty feels about me and P.I.X.A.L. dating?

Flashback Cole's P.O.V.

3 days before Steep Wisdom's opening, I decided to ask Zai out, she was practicing some spells with Paty, but one went wrong and Paty's skin and up blue, like a blueberry. Zai laughed loudly.

— It's not funny —she pouted.

— A little bit, tiny —I laughed  walking in.

— Cole?  How long you've been.staring? —Zai asked.

— Enough to see the blueberry —I chuckled.

— Haha, see how hard I'm laughing —Paty said, with a poker face.

While she was distracted looking for a spell to change her skin back to normal. I took a deeps breath.

— Zai, would you go on a date with me, as my girlfriend? —I asked.

There was a long silence, even Paty turned to look at us. She was staring with a crazy smile.

— Yeah! I'd be honoured! —Zai hugged me tight.

— This Friday? —I asked.

— Of course my Master of Earth —she whispered.
End of the Flashback

— But that was before Morro came and screw it all —Cole said— The day he possessed Lloyd we were supposed to have our date.

— I'm so sorry for you two —I said.

— Thanks Zane, but we are already a couple so we can have our date another day —Zai said, before kissing Cole's lips.

— So you won't be stealing my girl any more? —Jay asked.

We all face-palmed. He still wants to be with Nya? I mean I used to think they were a cute couple, but after the Perfect Match thing, she cheated on him with Cole, what assures him that she won't do it again?

— Hey guys, umm, Kai who's she? —Nya asked.

— I'm Skylar

— Nya, Kai's sister, Samurai X, temporary Master of Water.

— Master of Water, huh? Well it's my pleasure —Skylar said shaking Nya's hand.

— Ninjas! —Sensei Wu called— we found where's the tomb!

We run inside, Misako said the tomb was in the ocean, underwater. But protectedby 3 deadly tests, "A Spinjitzu Master can, a Spinjitzu Master cannot, to move forward don't look ahead, to find his resting place." Ronin let us use his ship, and we made our way to the tomb.

We face the first test, I discovered it was a zoetrope, so I used Spinjitzu to chose the door. For the second one, we were in a room filled with traps and Cole saw we should gave up. We fall from a big slide of ice, and end up in a maze.

— Why I have the feeling this place is filled with monsters like in Maze Runner? —Zai said.

— Yeah... Wicked is good, right? —Erika said.

My sister grabbed Cole's hand, and Erika grabbed Lloyd's. Both were blushing lightly.

— Huh? Wow —Kai gasped— if my reflection means anything I'm starting to think we won't be breaking out of this maze at any time at all.

— My reflection, is that me? I look older, but our attire looks different. I believe our reflections does not reveal our inability to escape, but a mere glimpse of our future selves.

— I truly look older so it must be true —Lloyd said.

— Misako said, to move forward don't step ahead, is that what it means? —Cole said.

— Look Cole we look like a good couple even as oldies —Zai giggled.

— That's true honey —Cole said kissing her.

— Guys, I get an awesome eyepatch! —Jay cheered (wrote iPatch XD)

— Um that's cool Jay —Erika said more focused on her reflection.

— And there's something else...

Jay's P.O.V.

Someone came to snuggle on my right shoulder, an older Nya...

Why Nya? We broke up a while ago, that means... Paty feels something for someone else. Or... is she going to die? Then someone came and snuggle on my left shoulder... Paty.

It took me a few minutes to understand what this place was trying to tell me... I have to choose between them. But who?
