Chp. 8 . Hopes x And x Ambition.

It has been two hours had passed since the test began. The participants have to travel about thirty kilometers from the starting line. No one knows the extent of the distance that must be taken.
They were forced to run follow the examiner, without a clear purpose. It is a journey that is not visible at last. Many participants were already eliminated since the start of the test.

'Based on previous data, the type of test is usually only up to forty kilometers. The calculations are estimates we were nearing the finish line .. ' Nicolas, the computer boy thought confidently and continue running with happy face.

But...

' I've underestimated the Hunter's exam. Everyone here is like a monster. This collection of monsters .. ' Leorio thought. And then he see a boy with white hair riding a skateboard.
"Hey wait, boy!"

"Hmm?" the boy asked.

"Bring a little respect to the Hunter exam!" Leorio yell at the boy with a vein popped on his forehead.

"What do you mean?" the boy asked innocently.

"Why are you wearing a skateboard ?! That's cheating!" Leorio point at him.

"Why?" the boy asked again.

"Why.. This endurance test! " Leorio told the boy.

" No. It's not. " Gon jump in the conversation.

" Huh? Gon, what did you say ?! " Leorio asked Gon, disbelief.

" As Hime-chan said .. Satotz-san just told us to follow him. " Gon said looking forward.

" Gon, which side are you on, huh?! " Leorio asked, irritated. Then the silver haired boy slowing down and skate beside Gon.

" Hey, how old are you? " the silver haired boy asked Gon.

" Twelve years. " Gon answer, look at him.

' Hmm .. Were at the same age. ' The silvered thought. And then Gon smile at him. The silver haired boy do some trick and joining run along side with Gon.

"I think I really have to come running." he said with closed eye.

" Wow! Awesome!" Gon said with admiration in his voice and face.

" I'm Killua. " the silver haired boy introduced him self.

" I'm Gon. " Gon said to him.

Behind them, Leorio looked very tired and irritated.

'Damn.. He played me ..' Leorio thought.

Meanwhile....

Hime and Kurapika running far in front from Gon, Killua, and Leorio. They're running side by side.

' It's been four hours since the test began. We must have a distance of about sixty kilometers. How much more should we run? ' Kurapika thought. Then he looked at Hime who run beside him..

" Hime, are you okay? " Kurapika asked.

Hime looked at Kurapika and nod her head with a smile.
" Mhm. I feel great.. Thank you for asking. How about you, Kura-chan?"

" I'm okay too.. Just tell me when you're tired. " Kurapika said.

" It's okay! I've been running more than this.. " Hime said brightly and look forward again.

' We've been running for 4 hours and she didn't break any sweats. Amazing. ' Kurapika thought.
