river for a soul.

It was the afternoon, the lunchroom cluttered with students finding their way to where their friends sat. Usually Liam sat with the boys, and sometimes sat with the team depending on his mood. Today, he sat with the team while Louis and Niall sat across from each other, waiting for Harry to accompany them. Harry was tall, nearly loomed over half of the students here. His dark green eyes were stellar against his brunette hair and dark, thick eyebrows. His voice was deep, a slur of rumble and laze.
Louis was having a conversation with Niall about a party this coming weekend, and how they might show up. The boys sporadically did things together, they never went out to parties together or did mischievous things. They liked going to each other's houses and watching movies until 5am, passing out on the couch with a big blanket falling off of each other. Liam was a bigger partier than the rest of the boys, sometimes hosting his own. "I'd like to go, I need to get out of the house someway or another. I just need to ask Harry..." "ask Harry what?" Harry asked, sitting down beside Louis with food in hand. Louis smiled and gave Harry a kiss on the cheek, lingering a bit longer than usual. Harry started removing the pickles off of his burger when he asked what Louis needed to ask him. Niall was digging into his macaroni, watching the couple exchange looks. "I was wondering if we could go to Noel's party this weekend? Pleasssseeee baby, we never get out together." Louis whined, putting his head on Harry's shoulder and winked at Niall, who was shaking his head at the two. "If you really wanna go then of course bugaboo. Let's just hope Jack doesn't show up like last time, I'll bash his fuckin' head in." Harry threatened, reaching a hand down to pat the inside of Louis' thigh and rested it there. "I hope that you do." Louis encouraged and kissed his cheek once more, "thank you." He smiled and started eating, looking up at Niall who was looking down the table, his head in the palm of his hand. Louis put his food down, looking down the table as well and then rolling his eyes, but a small smile formed anyways. "For Christ sake, Nialler. Go sit with him, you're basically on the team with how often you go to the practices. Go talk, you're not strangers babe." Louis encouraged and reached over to pat Niall's arm. Niall sighed, and looked at Louis with his azure eyes. "Don't knock it til' you try it, Niall." Harry smirked and the blond went red, and quickly got up with his food, walking to where Liam sat. "You're a good person, babe." Harry admired and put a forkful of food into his mouth. Louis sighed like he was tired of hearing it. "I know that."
