-Amber's POV-

"Hey, we're here."

I felt someone gently nudge me. I slowly opened my eyes, trying to adjust to the bright light sneaking through the blinds. I realized we finally reached the hotel when I adjusted to the sun. I rolled over and saw James kneeling on the bed. I reached up and pulled him in for a hug. I realized I was no longer dreaming. I was with James. As I hugged him, he lifted me off the bed and brought me to the central area of the tour bus. We pulled up to the front. Fans were lining up in front of the door. I looked out the window, going pale in the face and seeing all the fans running up and banging on the side of the bus. I felt myself getting weaker. I tried to pull my knees up to my face but couldn't. I felt myself starting to shake. I covered my ears and started to freak out, feeling like I was falling down a dark hole.

"Hey! Look at me. You're going to be okay. We're here to help you. Okay?"

I looked up at James and nodded. Carlos turned away from the window and looked at us.

"How did they know you were gonna be at this hotel?"

"I have no idea. No one gets out. I'm gonna call the other hotel to see if they have anything available."

"I got you, James. I'll call for you. Just make sure she stays calm."

Kendall grabbed his phone off the nightstand while James ran into the room and pulled me close, holding onto me while blocking me from the view. He pulled my hood over my head more so I didn't have to look out the window across from me.

"Awesome, thank you so much. We will be there soon. Also, you may want security for when fans realize where we're going. Perfect. We will also need a wheelchair-accessible room. Do you already have a room that's good for a wheelchair? Awesome. Thank you so much."

"Hey, driver: We're going to a new hotel."

Kendall yelled out, walked over to the driver, gave him the new address, and tried to drive out of the chaos of the crowd surrounding the bus. I continued holding onto James and decided I would only let him go once we were in a hotel room. As the bus was driving, fans started to chase us down the street. We turned a corner. James nudged me.

"Hey! We're good. The crowds are gone."

I looked up from holding James and saw no crowds. Carlos was looking out the window next to me.

"Uh... I wouldn't say that, James."

I saw Carlos looking out the back window. I looked out and saw the crowds following us.

"What are we gonna do?"

We all looked at each other, trying to figure out what to do. Just as we were about to think of something, we pulled up to the hotel and saw workers outside lined up. We pulled up in front of the hotel, and one of the workers walked onto the bus.

"Welcome! We have our workers acting as security to get you out. Also, here are some earplugs for the lady to get her through the crowd."

The worker looked at me and handed them to me.

"Thank you so much."

"Okay. Before you put in your earplugs, let me tell you the game plan. We have a wheelchair outside to wheel you to your room. James, would you be able to get her into the chair?"

James gave the worker a thumbs up.

"Okay, let's go."

I put my earplugs in, took a deep breath, and gave them the thumbs up. James gestured that he would pick me up and carry me out. He and Logan helped me to the edge of the couch before James got onto the sofa behind me and put his arms under mine. I held his hand resting on my shoulders while Logan bent down in front of me, holding my legs. They looked at each other with one swift motion; they lifted me up and slowly made their way to the door. Before getting off the bus, Carlos stopped James. He got ahead of him to look at me. He put a hat and sunglasses on me and pulled the hood back up over the hat. I gave him a nod, and we continued off the bus. I could hear James talking to me through the earplugs. Hearing his voice made the situation less stressful.
