That day I called a Feminist meeting at our hangout to talk about what happened today. Every girl was upset on how everything played out today. My heart hurted from seeing that and I prayed that society would treat us better but clearly they were not.

How long will this go on?

Our hangout was this regular sized room behind DeVoor's Bakery down the street from the school. One of members, Lola DeVoor let us use this room behind her dads bakery that was completely hidin. Lola was a straight A student and wore weird clothes, but nobody payed attention to her style because she was cool to hang with.

Our club was like an underground hangout where we had posters of our friends who died, got sent to juvenile or murdered by society. We had a tv on the wall and we decorated the walls pink & black. Me and Rema usually sat on the stage since we were the head leaders. Everybody wore their Feminist shirts when they walked through the door because this was our house.

My sisters were all upset and angry. "This is some bullshit!" Dashaney hollered. Dashaney was my homegirl since elementary and she was big, dark skinned and always snacking. Didn't nobody touched her or she will lash out on a bitch for talking about her weight. She kept everybody in check. Everybody started yelling and talking way too loud and it got out of control.

"Order! We will have order in this shit!" Rema shouted. "Or imma snitch and this place be shut down!" "Who made this bitch president?!" Sweet Tea joked in the audience and Rema flipped her off. "Keep playin' Tea!" Rema threw a pencil at her. "You still ma bitch!" Sweet Tea sat down in her chair in the front row since she was the secretary/planner of the club. "I love you." She blew a kiss at her and Rema flipped her off again.

"We need a snack bar in here." Dashaney's fat ass said opening a bag of chips and you know everybody started asking for some. "Y'all best 'ta move 'round goddamit!" Dashaney hid the Lays bag in her shirt. "Okay Dash. You know that shirt is about to pop anyways!" Everybody laughed at Sweet Tea's joke. "Just like I was poppin dis pussy on yo older brother." Everybody ooood and Tea smacked her in the back of her head.

"Don't make me pull them tracks out."

"Hey, y'all listen up....we have a new member." Rema tried to get their attention. "A new member?!? It's barely any room in her anyways!" Honda Smith, the only blonde white girl in the sisterhood scowled. "She talkin about me y'all. Chill." I came up on the stage and sat next to Rema. "I was hoping it was Matthew Mcconaughey." Rema whispered fanning herself and everybody groaned.

"I know y'all is upset on how things are getting lately. It's shifted from bad to worse." "Worse to worser!" A brunette shouted and folks agreed. "Before y'all shout some shit I want y'all to be more book smart than street smart because how Kyah acted today was unacceptable here and what we stand for! We have built this foundation to be smart, classy and intelligent girls and not no hood I-wanna-fight bitches!" A few of the girls clapped and some of them signed.

"I agree with Queen on that. We don't want y'all lashing out on authorities because we are already being oppressed as it is! We were ready to lash on Mr. Oatmeal too but what Kyah did isn't worth it! She ain't coming back! She's locked up now for threatening to kill him! Now we have to pray for our sister!" We sang our chant and prayed for Kyah to make better choices and hopefully she gets out of juvenile detention.

Majority of my sisters was not feeling it. I wanted my homegirls to be on the same page as us. Sweet Tea stood up and a few girls clapped. "I understand what y'all is saying on being intelligent but it's not working." Majority of them clapped. I understood that Sweet Tea was my bitch and all, but sometimes I be ready to slap her. I don't need my girls turning against us. I can't have her being the Vice President when we ain't on the same page.
