Selfishness breeds insecurity and depression. but yet I still haven't found the end all to depression. it's frustrating to have it all but feel empty at times. life was never meant to be easy though. struggle only makes you stronger I suppose. and only when im brought low do I feel true compassion for others. we are destined as humans to fail and fall. to recover and become even more focused and determined. the road certainly can be a lonely place at times. I do feel much less alone when I have your faces and feel your energy. I read your letter and hear your stories of struggle and success. fears and hopes. Every night when I get on stage I am reminded why I do this. Because that's when I feel alive. I never keep a journal anymore so I guess you have to hear my rants here at times. I apologize for that.
