Brock made sure Reba got into her house then went three houses down to what used to be his and Barbara-Jean's old house. He expected to see Barbara-Jean and Henry somewhere but he didn't.
As Barbara-Jean would know, she stuck the note where the beer was. So when he grabbed a beer he would see the note.
Brock arrived at his house and went to grab a beer and saw the note. He grabbed the note, but not a beer.
Reba sat down on the couch and and decided that she was gonna lay down on the couch and rest.
Then Brock came through the door. No surprise, huh?
Reba sat right back up and said, "I guess I won't lay down."
"Oh, I'm sorry. Am I interrupting something?"
