Eleanor's POV

I have always seen kind of weird dreams. When I was a little, I fixed things with Bob the Builder. After that, most of my dreams have been weirder. I've danced with Michael Jackson, robbed a bank with James Bond, saved planets with The Doctor. The list goes on and on. Every dream has been different. While ago I had a few dreams, that were in a same place with same people. That's not normal for me.

I was going to sleep after a long day at work. I worked in a publishing company, because I love books more than anything. I learnt to read when I was five and since then I have been reading everything I have been able to read. Literally everything. Harry Potters, Lord of the rings, The Hobbit, every classic book like Wuthering Heights or Pride and prejudice, Robison Crusoe and also this list goes on and on.
That night changed my dreams to the same. That night I saw an elk, big spiders and the most beautiful elf I have ever seen.

I woke up in the middle of a dark forest. I began to walk and find a way out of that forest. I had a strange feeling and I felt like I was drunk. It took me a couple hours to get out from that forest. I was so tired that I fell asleep on the ground, under a big tree.

When I opened my eyes, I regonized the view immediately. I was in Middle-Earth. How couldn't I notice that? I looked down and I saw that I had only a too big t-shirt and a flanel trousers on me. I had to find a village or something. I needed a map, clothes and a bath.
I started to walk to the green fields. Sun shined and birds sang beautifully. I hummed a melody which was from Lord of the Rings. Actually it was the theme song.

I hadn't seen anybody in hours. My journey had been tiring. I didn't have a faintest idea where I was.
Suddenly I heard a lot of people. I looked around and I saw an army and a big big elk far away. How was I able to hear them? And how was I able to see them? I didn't have the best sense of hearing. I knew that elves had a great sense of hearing and their eyesight was unparalleled. I couldn't be elf, or could I?
I lifted my hands to my ears and oh boy, they were pointy.
Oh. My. God. Am I an elleth now? How is this possible? Okay, I'm dreaming so this can be possible, but still. To be honest I don't mind being an elf. They are immortal, yeah yeah I know they can die to physical injury or to not have will to live, they are unrealistically beautiful and their language is the most beautiful I have ever heard. I can speak a little bit of Sindarin and at this situation it could be useful. Very useful.

I didn't notice that the army and the elk moved pretty quickly. I continued my journey and I didn't get far away when I heard an yell. "Daro!" a man voice said. Okay, yelled. I stopped and turned only to face a giant elk and an elf on its back. "Pedil edhellen?" the ellon asked. "No, pedin edhellen", I answered to him. He seemed suprised. He clearly hadn't seen my ears. Then I looked up once more and saw who the ellon was.
Oh. My. God.
