I sat on my lifeguard chair, watching out for drowning in the water. I climbed down and grabbed my water bottle, it was such a hot day. I would usually never wish for someone to be stuck in the water, but today I was practically praying.

I turned around and saw everyone standing by the edge of the water. I walked over to see someone in the water, they were struggling to stay above. The waves crashing on them were so rough. I ran right in and swam to them, diving under so many waves. As I soon approached them, I saw that it was a teenage boy and he wasn't breathing.

"Ethan!!!!!! Please be safe!!!!!" I heard someone yell.

I held him from his armpits and swam back to the shore, dodging waves left and right. I soon approached the shore and carried him to some spot on the sand, I laid him on the sand. I pushed on his chest, I moved my mouth to his and gave him air. I repeated this a few more times until i felt his pulse come back, he sat up and started coughing a lot.

"It's ok, let it all out." I said hitting his back.

"Ethan!! Bro, are you ok?" A boy, who looked very much like him asked.

"Yeah, I think." He said completely lost. "What happened?"

"You almost drowned bro, but she saved you."

"Who?" He asked turning around.

I raised my finger, he smiled.

"Thank you, and might I say, you are quiet gorgeous." He said standing up.

"You're welcome,and thank you so much." I stood up.

"No problem, I'm just stating the facts." He winked and then ran off.

*Skip to the end of the day*

I got all my stuff and walked off the beach, I couldn't get that boy off my mind. His beautiful face, godly jawline, and his amazing abs. As I was in deep thought, I bumped into someone.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I said.

I looked up to see him, the boy who I saved earlier today.

"No, I'm so- hey wait, don't I know you?" He said once he realized it was me.

"Yeah, I saved you earlier today." I said.

"Oh yea, thanks again for that. Why I don't treat you to some food?"

"You're welcome again, and sure. I on't have anything else to do." I said.

He smiled and took my arm, we walked to the boardwalk and got some food. We started walking again and finished eating, we threw out our food.

"I gotta get home now, my parents are probably worried that I'm not home yet."

"Well, let me walk you home." He said.

I nodded and we walked back to my house, we soon reached it.

"Well, thank you for all this." I smiled.

He leaned in and kissed my lips, his soft lips felt do good again.

"No, thank you." He said with a smile.

I started walking to my door.

"Wait, can I have your number and name?" He said.

"Yeah." I said with a small laugh.

I gave him my number i his phone and put my name as the contact.

"Y/N, such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He said and walked away.

I could feel my cheeks getting red.

"He's so perfect." I said to myself.

"You are too." He yelled from the street.
