Lisa's pov -
"Luke?" I breath out in surprise. I don't dare believe it's actually him but from the way my heart is breaking I know it is.It's been a year, a whole year that I've managed to stay away. A whole year where I have felt empty and alone. A whole year where I've been broken. But also a whole year where he has been alive. A whole year where he has been safe.
"Hi" he sounds relieved and just the sound of his voice makes me heart break.
"Hi" I respond and even though it's just a simple word it hangs between us, creating tension.
"Honey I finally found just the read ones" a girl holding red gelly beans walks up to him and as her eyes lands on me she offers a smirk before grabbing his, pulling him down and kisses him..hard and long.
I can feel my eyes begin to fill with tears as my heart is broken into even more pieces, something I didn't even think was possible. I mean it's not like I expected him to never move on, I just never expected to have to witness it.
I drop my groceries to the floor and makes a run for it, not once looking back at the man who has broken my heart more than once now.
"Lisa! Lisa wait!" I hear him call out for me but I ignore it as I speed up.
