The Lost Beta

Chapter 5

I'm asleep, in the room, I hear Derek coming then Scott. I stay in the room. I'm gonna ask Derek if I can go to school, I mean I don't wanna be away from him, but I don't know.
It's morning, I wake up to see Derek not next to me, I rubbed my eyes and looked around, I couldn't hear him. I got up and walked around trying to find a note from him, but I found nothing! I let a little whimper escape me, then I toughened up, I can't be a wimp! I'm a wolf, I'm suppose to be brave! Ahh! I look in the mirror, my eyes glowing blue, why do my eyes glow blue, I know Derek's glows blue too but why? Laura's were red, why are  ours blue? I'll have to ask Derek that too. I looked out the window to wait for Derek to return, I wonder where he went? He Better have brought me food! I'm hungry! I growl from boredom.
Derek came back and then threw me a snack, I smiled, then he started exercising. I huffed and sat on the stairs watching him, while eating my food, he soon stopped, and looked at me, I heard something too, he nodded off, I went and hid, I curled into a ball, holding my bag in my hands, hoping no one finds me. Tears go down my cheeks, I listened, A Hunter said" no one home?" A huntress said" oh, he's here. He's just not feeling particularly hospitable." Another Hunter said" maybe he's out burying a bone in the backyard." The huntress said" really? A dog joke. We're going there, and that's the best you got?" I stopped listening, I heard electricity pierce through the air, I opened my eyes and looked at the door, Derek!! I got up and ran to the stairs, I quietly clawed up the wall and I saw A woman leaning down to Derek, then I heard gun shots, I jumped down and then I was quickly grabbed, I looked to see who grabbed me and it was Derek, he pulled me on to his back a and took full speed, I closed my eyes and put my face in Derek's shoulder, once we stopped, he put me down, he said" are you okay? Did they see you?" I said" I'm okay, they didn't see me." He pulled me into a hug, I hugged him back.
