The Tree's Nuts. . .

So, a few days ago, me and Lubdubh were having a normal conversation, and then suddenly it turned into something weird. That usually happens to us. But anyway, here's a little how the conversation went. I can't remember exactly, so please forgive me for that. Oh, and so the events in the conversation make sense, we were walking back and forth while talking so that's how some of them happened. But anyway, here goes:

L and M: *normal conversation, then Lubdubh speaks up*
L: You know, I used to think that grass was hurt whenever you stepped on it.
M: I still think that.
L and M: *laughs*
M: But really, I still think grass feels us stepping on it. I mean, it is alive, so. . .*trails off*
L: Yeah, I guess.
M: *hits low tree branch* Oh, come on! Are you kidding me?!
L and M: *laughs*
L: Good job, Kat.
M: Yeah, I guess. Anyway, back to the grass-*tree drops a nut on my head* Are you frickin kidding me?! I'm just sitting here talking about grass's feelings, and the tree drops a nut on my head! *toward tree* You know, why don't you just keep dropping nuts on me! Seems to be the trend for every tree now! They're all dropping their nuts on me!
L and M: *silence for a few moments* *bursts into laughter*
L: *between laughs* Kat! Why?!
M: You know, I think the tree's jealous. . .
M and L: *laughs*
*Bell rings*
M: Crap. That's the bell. *tree drops another nut on my head as I'm about to walk* *continues walking* *picks up a rock on the way* Are you kidding me?! That how you wanna play, huh?!*throws Rock, only barely makes the shot* You know, a bird's probably gonna poop on my head now. Or a bee's gonna sting me. I just think nature is against me for some reason. . .
L and M: *laughs as we head to class*
