Mamoru's POV
I take a glance over to see if Usagi had heard anything. She seems quite normal. Well, that's okay for right now. Hopefully nothing more will slip out. Our server brings out our ordered entrees. Naomi had ordered herself the Tagliolini with mushrooms and had ordered me the Matsutake spaghetti with fried tilefish. I haven't been to this restaurant, but Naomi said that this place had the best dine in service and had extravagant taste for food. She wasn't wrong about 'extravagant' being the word to describe this kind of food. It had 'fancy' written all over it. The Tagliolini came in a small portion that fit just within the middle frame of the plate topped with just a hint of mushrooms. The Matsutake, like the Tagliolini, came in a small portion that fit just within its' glass bowl. I don't think even Motoki could even pull this off at the Crown. Eyeing the delicacy in front of me, I grab the wrapped utensils from the table and start taking out the knife and fork. Using the fork, I twirl a bit of my spaghetti, with some tilefish, and lift it up to my mouth. The taste was so incredible. I don't think I've ever had food that tasted this wonderful. "You're right Naomi. This restaurant really is all that, like you said it would be." I mention to my partner across the table. She gave a winning smile, like she knew she'd been right all along. "I told you so. I'm glad you like it here! We should definitely come back again." she exclaims in a cheery voice, before taking a bite from her own feast. Yes I will be back again...back with Usako. I eye the couple next to us. They seem to be enjoying their own food and is rather in deep conversation of their own. Usagi looks so cute the way she enjoys her meal. She loves food. I wonder if she still loves me too... Naomi is a great woman and all, but I should just straight up tell her before all of this gets carried away. So what if Usagi hears our conversation about the omiai story, I should've told her in the beginning. Why didn't I tell her, anyway? I could've saved a broken heart and she probably wouldn't be eating dinner with this Seiya guy. She would've understood since I was going to cancel my marriage with Naomi. Okay, here goes nothing. "Naomi, I have something I need to tell you." I state firmly. She looks up at me and sets down her utensils, giving me her full attention. "Actually...I have something I have to tell you too." she replies. "You can go first." I tell her. "No, you go ahead." she counters. "I insist, you go." I respond back. "No, you go. I insist." she repeats. "No, you-" I get interrupted by Usako's voice in my head. 'Just go! I can hear you from over here!' Usagi invoices. "Fine. Let's say it together." I suggest. "Okay, in one-" "two-" "three-" "Ican'tgothroughwiththisomiaibecauseIhaveagirl-" "boy-" "friend." both of us finish. "Wait, what?" our voices sync again. "I can't go through with this because I have a boyfriend. He lives with me in America, but we recently got into an argument and so I thought it was okay to agree to this omiai to make him jealous, thinking he would run after me and stop me. He didn't, but on the way here, I received a text informing me of how much he loves me and truly cares for me, but I still ended up going through with the plan. Please forgive me." she explains. I let out a sigh of relief. "I'm so glad because you see, I have a girlfriend and that's why I can't go through with this. Plus, I don't want to run a business corporation, I want to be a doctor." I convey what I truly feel. Naomi starts to bust into giggles. "Oh wow, what irony." she states. "Actually, now that we've established our feelings, I must go. I haven't time to lose." she mentions. "That's fine, I understand. I have a situation I must handle as well after this." I comment. "So...do you mind?" she asks, observing the meals brought out on the table. "I got it. You may leave when you're ready. I hope you and your boyfriend work things out." I answer. Naomi nods her head in thanks, then gets up to leave and I call for the check.

Usagi's POV
Did I just hear what I thought I heard? They were set up for an omiai? He didn't mention anything like that to me. "Excuse me. I know I'm interrupting, but I would like to borrow Usagi a bit." Mamoru mentions to Seiya. I'd rather not right now. He can't just suppose that everything would go back to the way it was after he stabbed my heart. I'm not that 14 or 16 year old I was back then. He needs to work a bit before he haves me back. "I'm sorry, but we are on a date, sir." Seiya states the obvious to Mamoru, unless he couldn't see that. "I see, but you wouldn't even be on this date at all if it wasn't for me breaking up with her." he adds. "Yeah, well, that was your mistake to break up with her even at all." he responds in an annoyed tone. Two guys fighting over me, I wouldn't have thought that would happen, but I guess it's time to stop it before they cause a scene. "Guys, stop!" I vocalize. The two men suddenly stop their bickering and face me. I look towards Mamoru first. "Look, just because you think everything's fine with your...omiai problems, doesn't mean you can just suddenly retrieve my heart right after. It doesn't just work that way. You broke my heart, remember? And secondly," I look over towards Seiya. "You're a nice guy and I really was thrilled to go out to eat with you, but frankly, I'm just not into getting into another relationship right now. I'm sorry, but I feel that I must go." I apologize to Seiya and make my escape without looking back. I leave the restaurant and make it to the park to clear my head. I'm sure Seiya is a nice guy, but for one, I don't exactly know him, and two, my heart still belongs to the other... even if he did break it... I sit on the park bench and sigh. How did all of this manage to happen within a day? It was going well earlier and then all of a sudden, Mamo-chan had claimed he wanted to break up. A little later, I ended up going to his apartment for answers, but he was in a hurry and sure let me know how immature I am for him. Does destiny not mean something anymore? And Chibiusa's gone I'm sure, now that me and her dad have nothing to do with each other anymore. I just wish... he would've just told me about the omiai because then I would've known that he would've canceled it and I wouldn't be here on the park bench, huddled to myself, sobbing. Everything would have been fine, right? My thoughts get interrupted as I hear footsteps crunching on the dried leaves that have fallen to the ground. The sound gets louder...and louder...until I start to feel a pair of arms being wrapped around my shoulders, bringing me to an embrace. I start to feel a sense of panic rush through me...until I hear his voice. "Usako." Mamoru whispers in my ear, nuzzling against my neck. What is he doing? This is uncalled for. I attempt to shrug him off, but he pulls me in tighter. "Let go..." I tell him. "No, not until this is fixed." he responds. "What is there to fix?" I ask. "You don't have to go through with your omiai anymore. It should be fine, right?" I assure him. "But we're not fine!" he shouts. "We're not fine at all..." his voice starts to shake. Was he actually bothered? He's the one who first initiated us breaking up. "I've been lying to you...everything I said was a lie." he mutters into my neck. "Wh-what do you mean..?" I ask nervously. "...I meant...when I told you I didn't love you anymore...and yes, you might be a bit of a crybaby at some times, but there's definitely nothing wrong with you...you're perfect...I don't care if you did just finish high-school...quite frankly, I'm pretty glad you finished high-school because now you can move forward in life and I want to be there every step of the way....I love you, Usako and I mean every word of it...." he explains calm and soothingly, as if he's about to cry. I hesitantly turn my head to look up at him. "D-do you...really mean it..?" I voice, unsure of myself. He looks at me with so much warmth and love in his eyes. "Of course I do, Usako." he repeats. I can feel my eyes slowly start to water with happiness. "Oh...Mamo-chan..." "Usako.." Mamo-chan then leans his head closer to mine, slowly closing the gap between our lips. Mmm~ I missed this warmness. A few seconds later, we break apart and I position myself on my knees, reaching up to grab him around the neck. "Oh Mamo-chan...I love you so much. Please don't leave me again...and promise to tell me everything, in every detail.." I mutter against his chest. "I promise." he responds softly, returning the embrace. "I promise."
