Niall’s P.O.V
We were back at the hotel and everyone was about to go to sleep. I was sitting in bed, listening to Ed Sheeran on repeat and it was possibly the best thing I had ever ever fallen asleep to before!
A loud knock on my door interrupted my music; I unlocked my phone and paused Ed’s voice.
“Come in!” I called out, just as I did the door handle starting turning. Looks like someone in a rush!
“Mate! I did it!” Liam exclaimed holding a guitar in one hand and crumpled piece of paper in the other.
“Did what?” I asked confused, Liam could play the guitar but he didn’t usually play that often! But for some reason recently he has started to play an awful lot!
“I wrote the last song for the album!” he shouted as he sat on the end of my bed and put the guitar on his lap.
I nodded for him to go on and he started to play a few chords,
“I’m in trouble… uh sorry! Wrong chord!” He said as he moved his hands slightly, I could see that he was nervous by how much he was shaking. The song must mean a lot if he was shaking.
“I'm in trouble, I'm an addict
I'm addicted to this girl
She's got my heart tied in a knot
And my stomach in a whirl
But even worse I can't stop calling her
She's all I want and more
I mean damn, what's not to adore?
I've been playing too much guitar
I've been listening to jazz
I call so many times
I swear she's going mad
And that cellular will be the death of us
I swear, I swear
And oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
I'm running my mouth just like I got her but I surely don't
Because she so uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, rock and roll
And out of my league, is she out of my league? Let's hope not
I'm in trouble, I'm so cliché
See that word just wears me out
Makes me feel like just another boy
To laugh and joke about
But even worse I can't stop calling her
I love to hear that voice
And honestly I'm left with no choice
I’ve been playing too much guitar
I've been listening to jazz
I call so many times
I swear she's going mad
And that cellular will be the death of us
I swear, I swear
And oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
I'm running my mouth just like I got her but I surely don't
Because she so uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, rock and roll
And out of my league, is she out of my league? Let's hope not” He sang it all upbeat on the guitar which was different for him, he usually played slow songs.
