Kuin's POV
Getting everything ready for a busy work day ahead, I descend down the stairs. Everyone were at where they usually are.
Hiro left the earliest for his college; Riki's serving up miso soup; Takuto's eating pancakes; Boss is probably in the kitchen and Kenshi's just leaving for his shift this morning.
"Bye Kenny!" I gave him a quick pat on the shoulder as he walked by. He waved back with a smile before going out the door.
"Good morning, Kuin." Riki's usual greeting puts me to ease. It makes me feel like yesterday's trauma was only a dream.
"Yo." Takuto glanced over his shoulder with his short greeting.
I took a seat beside him, "good morning to you both."
I slipped out my phone, wanting to text Yuzuki and apologize for yesterday. But my reflection on my screen caught me first.
I forgot to put in contacts. I can't show up at work with hetero eyes! Thank god I caught myself.
Hurrying upstairs, I put in my hazel lenses. Am I going...soft? No. That can't happen.
See, this is why feelings are such a pain. Whether close friends or sibling-like relationships. When the mind is crowded by these unnecessary stuff, important things tend to be forgotten by the love-struck owner.
Love-struck?
I don't have time for this....
"Thanks for breakfast." I say in my sweet office voice that could fool millions, "I'm off to work. Bye!"
Takuto's POV
"...Did you see that?" Riki asks a while after Lillie left LRN.
"Her famous fake smile?" I respond while packing my bag. It bothers me to think that she's going back to her fake side with us.
"I suppose she's just scared." Riki says calmly while adjusting his suit tie, "Her past is making her automatically think opening up to people is going to end up hurting her."
I didn't speak after that. Does that mean she still doesn't trust us? Or rather, trust us enough to lower her guard around us, which she caught herself doing.
"Hey...isn't that her laptop?" Riki picked up a red laptop case. He glanced at the clock, "My work starts in thirty minutes. Do you think you can deliver this to Kuin, Takuto?"
I merely took it over in response.
At her work place building, only employees with ID cards can get inside. And it'll take too long for someone in the office here to ring her down. Heck, my work starts in another hour too.
Just as I was thinking about hacking the security system and let myself in...
"Who are you?" Lillie's voice rang from down the corridor.
I backed up against the wall to that corner and listened intently.
"Eh? S-Senpai? What're you talking about?" A meek voice answered shyly.
That voice sounds irritatingly familiar.
"Who were you on the phone with?"
I peeked around the corner. My mouth gaped open when I see who Lillie's talking to.
"Um...my sister was checking up on me."
Chiwa...the younger sister of Rabenda.
What does she think she's doing here?
"Your sister sounds awfully familiar to me.... May I ask for her name?" I can tell Lillie was on her last few strings of patience and niceness.
"Well, it's Chizuru. Y'know, we both have the kanji 'Chi' in our names."
Lillie's smile completely vanished, "Sou desu ka.... (Is that so)"
"H-Hai..!"
I stepped out from around the corner. Rabenda is causing Lillie trouble via her sister at work as well. Who knows what she's planning.
"Takkun?" Lillie says aloud when she sees me approaching. Chiwa's face visibly paled in recognition.
"You left this in the room." I hand out her laptop case. There was a reason why I said the room and not LRN.
She glanced up at me for a second, probably not understanding why I said 'room'. But her smile came back faster, "thanks, Takkun."
Reaching out an arm, I patted her head in an affectionate way. There were two reasons for doing that.
One, I actually wanted to. Two, purposely for Chiwa to see.
"E-Excuse me...." As I thought, she excused herself and walked off.
Lillie and I waited one more minute before she spoke in a hushed voice, "Okay I know you drove her away on purpose, now spill."
"You know fully well that she was speaking to Rabenda, right?" she nodded. "I can draw her out this way."
She stared at me for five seconds straight, "what exactly is your past relationship with her..?"
I turned around, "Anyways, if she comes to you first. Don't worry I'll track you down."
"Uh. Thanks..?"
Confusion was still present in her voice. But this was the only solution left if we want to take action before whatever Rabenda has planned.
Kuin's POV
According to Takuto's dumb plan, Chiwa should be reporting this to Rabenda.
As I walk by the private female's washroom, I heard her voice.
"...Yes! How can I see wrong? Takuto Hirukawa, no doubt about it! She even called him 'Takkun' affectionately!"
Then, a shriek-like scream was emitted from the phone. Which Chiwa quickly covered, but from where I'm standing, I could still hear it as muffled screaming.
"That bitch is stealing EVERYTHING from me!!! Everything! Even all my Exs!"
Did she just say...ex?
Wait...what?
The doorknob of the washroom jiggled. I quickly flashed out of the way and around a corner.
"By the way...I think she's suspicious of me now. She was questioning me this morning. We gotta be more careful and cool down your head, sister." Chiwa says for the last time while her voice faded down the other side of the corridor.
I took in and then let out a deep breath.
Your plan better work, Takuto.

If you have plot suggestions, leave the name of your fav Black Fox character too XD so I can use per say idea in the ending chapters.
Kenshi is taken so far.
