blue. i now feel like im drowning in a tub of blue substance, and all i can seem to think of is blue. my mind is running blue, blue is flowing through my veins, my heart is racing and pumping blue. when the blue blood in my body is exposed to oxygen, instead of turning red, it stays blue. a lighter blue this time, the color of his eyes. the striking electric blue surrounding his pupils, the color that gives me the air to breathe. the waves of the ocean in his eyes, the blue in the background of the plane cutting through the sky. i was utterly infatuated with the color blue, but instead of it being temporary, it was all that would cloud my mind for weeks.
