Callum's Birthday Bash

Callum O'reily always threw the best parties for his birthday (New Years). Everyone was there and if you weren't you were a total loser. You just had to be there. Anyway at Callum's party last year he made out with Britney and they were all over each other. She couldn't wait to get in. They went upstairs to Callum's parents room but Brianna walked in on them and stormed down the stairs. They sprung up off the bed, adjusted their clothes and chased after her.
'Bri I can explain' Britney blurted out.

'Explain how you tried to sleep with my boyfriend, explain why you would do that to your best friend and how you could possibly come between us!'

'I understand what I did was wrong but what about Kyle he was so willing to give you up like that to sleep with me. He would have too if you didn't walk in on us!'
'You are so clueless you think everyone is so in love with you the only reason you have any friends is because of me. They don't even like you they just feel bad for you and pity you. Oh my god you're a selfish little slut who'll sleep with any guy you can get your hands on. I hope you are happy!'

Britney ran down the stairs in tears and Brianna left 20 minutes later in Kyle's car. They were and on and off couple and they always worked things out so quickly. Brianna stayed at Kyle's house that night and everyone knew exactly what happened.
At school at Monday Brianna and Kyle were all of each other again and Brianna had already gotten over it.

No one had seen Britney and Brianna talk for months until Brianna and Kyle had a fight and Brianna just cracked. I had never seen anyone that angry before and I was confused that she took it out on Britney because she wasn't the reason for their problems. Or so everyone thought. 

After school the previous Friday Britney stayed at Kyle's house and they went to Jess Maguire's gath together. Kyle and Brianna had broken up this time for good and Britney and Kyle had been together since.

Liv always reminded Ruby of it every time she mentioned Kyle.
Ruby had kept her feelings for Kyle secret for months after the last time until one weekend away at the beach when Ruby told Liv everything. She thought it was the most ridiculous thing she'd ever heard and brushed it off until the next day when they were joking around and she blurted out 'Well at least I don't like Kyle Vandenberg'
Ruby was mortified and she grabbed her things and left Liv tanning on the beach.
A short time after Liv jumped up and followed Ruby like nothing ever happened. She pretended like she didn't even say it and this really got to Ruby.
Ruby tried to forget about it for the sake of the holiday but she just couldn't move on. She had this feeling deep inside her like someone was pulling on her heart from inside her chest. Just the constant pain, the constant confusion she felt abandon. She asked Liv what was going on and all she had to say was
'I just needed something quick to say that I knew would hurt you.'
What a horrible thing to say to someone, they didn't speak for a few weeks but Ruby just couldn't seem to stay mad at her.
