Alaina's (that's meh) POV:

"We should follow those people in front of us." Someone whispered and it felt like they pointed at us.

The voice sounded so familiar.

"What?!" Two other people said at the same time.

The other two voices sounded oh so familiar as well. I just ignored the voices and started to sing a song that would annoy my siblings and my sister's friend, Lexi. (play audio)

  Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet
To go over everything
They say that time's supposed to heal ya
But I ain't done much healing

The others facepalmed, but they started to sing along.

  Hello, can you hear me?
I'm in California dreaming  about who we used to be
When we were younger and free
I've forgotten how it felt  before the world fell at our feet

There's such a difference  between us
And a million miles

  Hello from the other side
I must have called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
Hello from the outside
At least, I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore

  Hello, how are you?
It's so typical of me to talk about myself. I'm sorry
I hope that you're well
Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened?

And it's no secret that the both of us
Are running out of time

So hello from the other side (other side)
I must have called a thousand times (thousand times)
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
Hello from the outside (outside)
At least, I can say that I've tried (I've tried)
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore

  Anymore

  Anymore

  Anymore

  Anymore

Hello from the other side (other side)
I must have called a thousand times (thousand times)
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home
Hello from the outside (outside)
At least, I can say that I've tried (I've tried)
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter. It clearly doesn't tear you apart anymore

For those who heard the four of us sing had joined in. Then I heard the same voices from earlier start talking again.  I looked behind my shoulder to see who it was. I gasped and turned fully around.

"Alaina, what's the matter?" My little sister, Elise, asked as she turned to face me.

The other two, James and Lexi, looked as well. Then three looked to see who I was looking at. They gasped when they looked. It was Legolas, Tauriel, and Thranduil. Tauriel and Legolas stopped because they noticed me staring at the three of them, but Thranduil walked right into me. His tall 6'5" physique was like a giant compared to my small 5'8" one. Thranduil mumbled an "I'm so sorry" and backed up two steps and looked at me, studying every aspect of me. He smiled.

"Y-your Thranduil, the King of M-mirkwood..." I stuttered.

"Yes, I am. I believe I haven't caught your name, my fair lady." He politely smiled.

"A-alaina." I couldn't believe that I was stuttering this much; why was he doing this?!

"Alaina..." Thranduil said, seeing how it would roll off his tongue.

After that, I was under his icy and intense gaze as he circled me. Then Elise, James, and Lexi said that they were gonna go home; Tauriel and Legolas had followed. Thranduil smirked as he still circled me. Oh, that smirk! That devilish smirk! I blushed furiously and looked down. Suddenly the ground beneath me became more interesting than what was happening around me.

"There's no need to be embarrassed." Thranduil smiled and lifted my head with his hand.
