Today I helped my mom wash the dishes.
Today I helped my dad catch some fishes.
Today I helped stop my sister's glitches.
Today I helped sew up their bad stitches.
Today I couldn't count no more riches.
Today I will let go of some wishes.
I showed no flinches.
Today nobody asked to help with their
perfect pitch,
slip stitch,
sales pitch,
half cross stitch,
ignition switch,
irrigation ditch.
But today I helped somebody.
When no one would help me.
