The next day my classes were cut short. It was Friday afternoon and I was walking to my first detention of the day, hands covering my ears, eyes closed. Luckily, the halls were empty, so I wasn't bumping into students.
Now I know what your wondering... How in Merlin's beard am I walking without my eyes open.
Easy.
I cast a night vision spell. The best thing you can ever learn when being a witch/wizard is to make your own spells. Maybe even better versions of old spells. I was lucky enough to figure out how to whip up a couple of my own spells.
I soon reached a door, lightly kicking it open with my foot. I was trying to avoid contact with anyone else that had detention. But I highly doubted anyone would be having detention this early in the afternoon. "Ms. Lupin, you're an hour late to detention. That'll be an extra hour of cleaning." I heard McGonagall say in a strict tone. I sighed, dropping my hands from my ears and slowly opening my eyes. The night vision spell being discontinued.
"Hello Minivera." I yawn. She glares ominously at me, clicking her teeth. "Do I have to correct you every time Athena, it's Professor Minevera McGonagall to you and all other students!" I shrugged at her outburst, sitting down at the far corner of the room. She sighed in disappointment. "Before I leave to my class I need a favor. Go get Mr. Potter and bring him back to this exact detention room. The boy shouldn't avoid detention forever, he'll be suspended from the school."
My eyes widened slightly, but I nevertheless raised an eyebrow and stood up shakily. " Why can't you do it." I whined, a tiny hint of fear behind my words. She glared once more, the anger was literally seen fuming out of her ears. I could feel myself paling at the large surge of emotion. Without saying anything, I walked speedily out of the detention room.
I slammed open his dormitory door, scaring him awake. I had to hold in the large gasp ready to escape my mouth.
James was shirtless...

The three words kept playing like a broken record. He looked absolutely gorgeous. His hair was messier than usual, and he rubbed his eyes as he reached for his glasses on the bedside table. I couldn't help but feel awkward in this situation at first, so I burst into giggles. Hot fudge.
He blinked in surprised as he turned towards me, the corners of his lips turning up slightly. I bit my lip and stared for a few seconds longer. Finally I smirked and jumped into his bed. "Helloooo Mr. James Potter, absolutely loving the abs. " I 'joke', poking his side. He chuckles, shaking his head. "I'm late to detention aren't I." He questioned, although it was more of a statement. I nodded, a faint blush on my cheeks.
I sat up and began punching his back softly. "Now get up, get up, GET UP!" I exclaimed. The last punch gave off a feeling of happiness. It was completely different and soothing compared to the emotions I've gotten so used to feeling from others already. I couldn't help but slowly fall back into the bed and relax. James stands up, stretching out his muscles, a smile on his face. "James will you hurry up, we've got to go." I sigh, burying my face into his covers. "Yeah, yeah. Meet me downstairs." He replies, hitting me with a pillow.
"Noooooooo," I whine. " your bed is so comfortable." He laughs as he walks in to his dormitory washroom.
How unbelievable it is that I got so comfortable around him.
