~ Patricia's POV ~

I woke up a little early for uni, not that I have that long until I have to leave.

I've almost gotten over my recent break-up with Chris, I mean, I'm not gonna die since I broke up with an idiot.

Erna's been coming around lately helping me out with it all, and I really do appreciate it.

Stupid jerk face Chris.

Why does he have to cause so much drama.

**

"Shit, it's 6:00!" I said to myself.

I came back from uni about two hours ago.

Right now, I'm watching TV.

If Erna saw me right now, she'd probably give me a lecture about how I need to stop being lazy and manage my time more efficiently.

Then, my phone buzzed.

I opened the text message, instantly knowing it was from Erna;

From Erna:

Get up lazy bum.

What the hell?!

To Erna:

I am! I'm wearing a dress!

From Erna:

Ok then, what colour is it?

Crap, what am I going to wear.

To Erna:

Red...why? :)

From Erna:

Open your front door, would you.

To Erna:

Ok, but why?

From Erna:

Just do it.

I got up and dragged myself to the front door and opened it, only to find, none other than Erna.

Erna was wearing a strapless, dark blue tight dress, which fit her body perfectly, with dark blue heels. Her make-up was done perfectly, and her light brown hair was straightened.

"Hi..." I sheepishly said.

"Pat! Why is your dress not on?" She immediately asked.

"What, no hi?" I said, over-dramatically.

She came inside and I closed the door after her. Well, tried to, since Erna was dragging me to my room to choose a dress.

"Why are you early?" I asked.

"Why are you not ready?" She asked, totally ignoring my question.

"Relax, Erna, it's just a club."

"Whatever, I'm still disappointed in you."

"Cool story."

Erna just rolled her eyes. "So, what sort of dress do you want to wear?"

"Anything, it just has to be comfortable." I replied.

Erna started to look through my closet.

She picked out a tight, dark blue dress, similar to hers.

"I said comfortable." I reminded her.

"Right..." She said while looking through my closet again. "Ooh! This one!" She suddenly beamed, showing me a bright red, strapless dress. It had a thin belt.

"I guess that's alright." I said.

"Alright? That's perfect, Pat."

"Ok then, whatever you say."

Once I put it on, Erna started on my hair and make-up.

**

We entered the loud club, then went to sit at a table.

I could feel a few stares from drunken men on us, but pretended I didn't notice anything.

There were people making out, most dancing, and others just sitting and chatting.

"You wanna get a drink?" Erna asked me.

"Yeah, why not?" I replied.

We walked to the bar to an waiting bartender.

"Hey Pat! Hey Ern!" The bartender, John said.

"Hi John, how are you?" I asked.

"Alright, you?" He replied.

"I'm alright, just came here to relax a bit."

"That's good, what would you girls like tonight?" He asked.

"Umm, I'll have a shot of vodka please." I said.

"Same as her." Erna said.

"One moment." John said.

"Aren't you going to tell him about your break-up?" Erna quietly asked me.

"Nah, not yet." I replied.

John came back with our drinks, we took them, and went back to our table.

"Wanna dance?" Erna asked, once we had both finished our drinks.

"Sure."

We got up and danced on the crowded dance floor.

"I'll be back, I'm gonna go get another drink. Want one?" Erna said.

"No thanks, maybe later." I replied.

"Alright, I won't be long."

I started to dance alone, but I felt a stare on me from behind.

You know that feeling you get when you just know someone is watching you?

Yeah, that feeling.

I turned around, but I couldn't find anyone looking at me.

I started to dance again, but I still felt that burning stare from behind.

I decided to just wait until Erna came back, but she was taking a while.

Then I felt someone take me by the waist and start to dance.

"Dance with me, babe." He demandingly whispered.
