“Babe, aren’t you going to be a little warm?” Liam asked, looking at the jeans you were wearing. You were in Spain for the Take Me Home tour, and it was hot. You looked down, then back at him, and shrugged.
“I’ll be fine.” You assured him, but he would not drop it.
“Are you sure you don’t want to wear shorts? Or maybe a nice dress?” He asked, as you rummaged around for you bag. You stopped searching, angry.
“Liam, I said I would be fine. Let me dress how I want to.” You snapped, making him look startled.
“Are you okay?” He asked, getting up and walking over to you. You shook your head, and he pulled you in for a bear hug. “You can always tell me when something’s wrong, you know that?”
“I’m just really insecure.” You mutter against his chest, hoping he won’t hear you.
“About what?” He asks, pulling you away to look into your eyes. You sigh and decide it’s time to inform Liam of your biggest insecurity.
“I have stretch marks, Li. I hate them. So much.” You tell him, making him pull you into a bigger hug.
“You don’t have to be insecure about those, love. Loads of people have them. They aren’t going to make me love you any less.” He tells you, making you smile a tad.
“I just feel like everyone notices them.” You mumble, your chin resting on his shoulder.
“I’ve never noticed them. I think you’re beautiful just the way you are. You just need to realize that.”
“I love you so much, Li.” You tell him, hugging him tighter.
“I love you too. Stretch marks and all.” He tells you, kissing your forehead.
