Why do so many
Rich successful black men
Marry white females?
Maybe its love
Or maybe their trying to run
From a stereotype?
The McDonald's crowd?
The loud angry ones?
The violent drama filled ones?
The poor ones?
The mind a powerful thing
It always protects the heart
By concealing pain
Like an old house
With new paint
Why do lighter skin babies
Make us happier
Prouder
If we don't learn from the past
We are doom to repeat it
Its ironic.
