Lucas's POV
I ran after Maya. But you'd be surprised at how fast she can run.
I finally caught up with her.
"Maya wait! I'm sorry." I said.
She turned around. She gave me a look that could kill. "Yeah but sorry isn't gonna take back what you said."
"Maya-" I started.
"Our date was tonight!" Maya said. She started to tear up. "And I know for a fact that if I never heard all of this, you would've cancelled on me! On our first date!"
"Well I wouldn't have actually cancelled-" I said.
But Maya cut me of with a slap.
"OW!" I said holding my cheek."why'd you do that?"
"Because your not getting what I'm saying!" Maya said, bursting into tears.
"You were gonna ditch me!"
"I wouldn't have done that to you."
"Well I'm not gonna try and find out,"
"Maya please." I said on the verge of tears.
She turned to me wiping her tears. "No Lucas. I'll never forgive you for this."
And she left.
