Starry Skies

Part three; Run!

Skywarp was quietly recharging in the cool darkness of the room. He mewled weakly, and attempted to roll over. He woke with a start, coolant leaking out from his optics as he remembered his predicament. With a weak groan, he lay still.

He was so lost in thought he didn't hear the Prime enter. Skywarp whined and strained at the cuffs.

"Skywarp, I brought you energon."

"N-No! Don't waste it on me. I can live without it."

The red and blue mech sighed, and turned off the stasis cuffs that restrained the twitchy seeker. At the chance of freedom, Skywarp rolled off the berth, and out the room. He stumbled down the passageways, terrified of all the large shadows.

Slipping into a random room, he hid behind a stasis pod with a scary femme in it. Skywarp panted, tired out, and slipped into relaxation. He pulled the mirror shard the out his sub space, and gazed into it to watch his 'Brothers'.

"Have you seen Skywarp?"

"It's been three days, TC. He isn't coming back."

"Shut it, Scream! He'll come back, he has to!"

"No. No I won't."

Tears slipped down his faceplate.

The two identical seekers were pacing around, worried.

"He isn't dead, right?"

"I can feel his spark. He's alive."

Skywarp couldn't watch anymore without breaking down. Sub spacing the shard of silver, he sat still.

"It started... It..."

His voice broke. He breathed in deeper, and tried again.

"It started out as a feeling,
Which then grew into a hope.
Which then turned into a quiet thought,
Which then turned into a quiet word.
And then that word grew louder and louder;
'Til it was a battle cry.

Skywarp let sadness cloud his mind, and fell into stasis. He barley registered strong arm servos wrapping round him and carrying him.

He woke many hours later, settled in the lap of the Leader. He barely registered this, and nuzzled the startled Prime, believing it was one of his trine mates. He opened his bleary optics, and fell to the floor at the sight of a red, boxy chassis.

"Sorry! I-I'll go back to my... Uh... Room, right now if you want!"
