Chapter 5 Stupid Choices

I was sitting on the floor waiting for Julian to do something. I almost felt like crying but I knew I couldn't. He walked slowly towards the door, like he was phased or something. I got up and dusted the imaginary dust off my dress. I walked out and saw Mikayla and my dad looking out the door but I knew that my cousins just had left. I looked over and saw Julian in his black hoodie and black joggers sitting there looking down. I rolled my eyes and plopped down on the couch. My dad and Mikayla looked at me with confused and disappointed looks. " Mickey can you please go to your room? I need to talk to these two." My dad asked Mikayla with a sad smile on his face. I also looked down knowing what was about to happen. " Olivia Noel you need to apologize to Mr. Inman" my dad said. I looked at him and I could see Julian looking at him with a surprised look in his eyes. I was about to protest when Julian beat me to it. " Sir it was all my fault." My dad rolled his eyes and looked at me " Well Mr. Inman I am not your father so I don't care what you did right now. Olivia apologize to Julian." My dad said looking straight at me. I knew that I couldn't argue with him. I looked at Julian who was looking down at his shoes like they were the most interesting thing ever. " Julian," I said as he looked at me " I am sorry." I mumbled the last part. My dad told us both to stand up and put our arms out. We did and he handcuffed us together. " Umm dad we have school and Julian doesn't live here!" I said panicking hoping that he would reconsider. " You have my permission to skip school and Julian's going to stay here for a while while his father is.... attending some business." my dad said, " Look I know you will have some problems but I am hoping you can fix them. Julian's dad is one of my best friends." he said while ruffling Julians hair and smiling. He left the room and I plopped on the couch along with Julian. "So look than-" He cut me off. "What was that? Why can't you feel it?" he asked with real concern in his  eyes. " Uhh can you just calm down! I can't feel pain ok? Is that what you wanted to hear huh?" I asked him. He is really annoying sometimes.
