Do you remember all the times we've smiled. All the times we've laughed. Together? How much longer will the timeless moments last? How many more years, months, weeks, days, hours, seconds do we all have left; together?  We have no idea, do we. So lets continue to be happy. Until the last one standing, smiles for the last time

~Lily's pov continued~

While looking back at the completely fallen bridge. I failed to notice a few friends running up to us. But when I heard a shriek in my ear I noticed their presence. Momo, Bowtie, The Doctor, and Zig were standing next to us. Their expressions of pure shock, pain, heartbreak, and fear; are indescribable.

"Doctor, carry Pedro." I instantly ordered, ignoring their voices; and a careful transfer form mine and Ariana's arms, to The Doctors quickly happened. Without notifying anyone of what I was doing, I turned around and jogged over to the bloody area of where I saw Brendan be crushed.

'I have to check...' I thought to my self, failing to notice Bowtie right behind me. I crouched down next the half hidden mangled body. Sitting my knees in a thick puddle of red. In the back of my mind a voice was screaming that he was dead and I needed to get out of there. But what kind of friend would I be if I didn't go back to check, with some hope of him being okay?

"I-is that?" I heard the strangled cry of a familiar voice.

'God dammit Bowtie...' I barked inside my mind. "Yes...It's Brendan..." I quietly spoke, while reaching for the exposed bloody arm of the boy under the heavy rock. Checking for a pulse is kinda hard when you're trying to not breakdown and cry, and having a wailing boy behind you.

"And just as I thought..." I quietly sighed, voice wavering. "Come on..." I stood  and dragged a sobbing boy behind me, back to the others.

~Bowtie's pov~

"Stand tall, stay strong. Help the others. And stay sexy~!"   A muffled voice echoed in my ear as I was being dragged away from the body of him. More tears clouded my vision, as even more tears and sloppy coughed sobs escaped my throat. That voice I just heard was his too...

~Third Person pov~

Momo, was in tears, holding onto Ariana. Both girls shaking in fear. Zig was explaining to the others how Jaden led the rest of the group to the field. The Doctor was standing, complaining about how his coat was getting bloody, and how heavy Pedro was getting. But none the less, you could see fear and concern swirling in his eyes.

Everyone seemed to have forgotten about the second earthquake warning. That is, until it hit.

The ground shook once again, making the standing friends wobble and scream. Doctor sadly, was the only one who ended up falling, and dropping Pedro in the process...Being the drunken giraffe is not always a good thing...Bowtie on the other hand, held a sudden burst of energy and bolted towards Momo, quickly wrapping her in a protective hug. (Has Chase mode has been activated? o.o) Although Canada was left all alone shaking like a maraca on drugs, and covered in her friends' blood.

"Lily! Watch out!" Zig and the Doctor simultaneously yelled. Both of them seeing the large pine tree behind her beginning to sink into the ground and tipping.

Time seemed to slow down for all of them at that moment.

Lily turned her head and saw the tree quickly falling towards her. She let out a yelp and began to run towards her friends, her body moving slow and shaken. Everything in her eyes moved so slow, her stumbled running, sharp inhale, her loud heart beat, the blood moving in her veins. And even though time was  slowed, she was able to get closer to her friends. But the tree was still able to get closer to her. Zig, out stretched his hand towards her, with the intent to pull her quickly away from the large branches. Lily noticed, and reached out as well, but clumsily stumbled and tripped over her stumbled run.

She fell.

Time returned to its normal pace in their eyes. All of their eyes on the falling girl. The tree inches behind her. Zig's hand so close to grabbing hers. Their finger tips barely brushing each others. The small  ....But.....The tree was faster this time. The branches slamming her down to the ground harshly. The second earthquake ending right after. Oh, what a shame...

I guess you could say, Canada's time ran out.

Or was hour glass laid on its side?
