Once upon a time, there was a beautiful forest where all the animals lived together in harmony. In the center of the forest on a small hill was a large oak tree. The tree was said, to be magical and the king of the forest. It had been there for centuries and forever blooming colorful flowers were surrounding it.

On the outskirts of the forest was a small village where it was said that a pure maiden lived with glittering red hair and with eyes that had thousands of colors. She was said to have an enchanting voice and the pure heart of an Angel. The maiden had heard a legend about that if you played an instrument there it would sound much more wonderful than at any other place.

The girl walked out into the forest with a wooden flute. She walked through the forest and all the creatures in the forest looked at her from a distance. All of them bewitch by her beautiful humming. She moved through the forest and her eyes fell on the beautiful oak tree. A smile was on her lips, as she sat down leaning against the tree trunk. She played on the flute and the leaf began to dance to the sweet tones.

A soft voice began to sing a song in a foreign language. The girl stopped playing and looked around the tree, but she could not see a single person.

"Keep playing" a boyish voice said. She looked upwards and saw what looked like a human face further up the trunk. Her heart pounded as she said, "Who are you" while looking at the carved in face. It eyes blinked as it said, "I am the guardian of this forest". She tilted her head, but gave the tree a soft smile.

"I could not help sing when I heard you play on that flute of yours" he said while smiling at her. She lifted up the flute and said, "Want me to play another song". The trees face brightened up and it said, "Yes please do".

The girl and the tree quickly became friends and she visited the tree away single day. Hearing stories about the forest and playing beautiful music. Sometimes she even told him of her world and tree would tell her how much he wished to see what was outside this forest.

Seasons went by and the pure maiden came of age. A rumor had started across the world about a beautiful virgin that was so enchanting that even forest animals would come to her and hear her lovely voice.

One day a foreign prince visited the little village, curious about the girl everyone had been talking about throughout his country. He asked the villages about where to find the maiden, but they told him that see was inside the forest.

The prince decide to travel into the forest in search of the girl. Animal in the forest noticed his disturbing presence in the forest. Some of them went towards the oak tree and other head towards the maiden that had yet to reach the tree.

They told the tree about the person that had entered their forest. A sense of worry came to the tree and it told the animal that they must delay the young man for as long as they can. The animal that went over to the pure maiden help her getting to the tree keeping an eye out for the young man.

She reached the tree and sat down under its shade. The tree smiled as it saw her and small squirrel came over to her with some freeze nuts. She said thank you to the squirrel and eat one of the nuts while forming a smile on her lips.

"Camellia would you ever leave my side" the tree said to her and she tilted her head. She smiled and said "of course not" as if it was a silly question he had asked. A smile formed on the tree lips, but suddenly it could hear the sound of foreign footsteps.

Camellia looked behind her and saw a young man wearing expensive clothes walking towards her. His eyes were shining as if had just found the greats treasure in the world. He got down on his knees in front of her and he place a hand on his chest.

"My fair maiden, I am a prince from a country fare away and I have heard rumors about an elven princess living in this forest and the rumors are to be true cause I have never seen a more lovely lady than the one sitting in front of me now. I know that we have not meet before, but I wish to ask for your hand in marriage," the prince said and Camellia blinked her eyes bewildered.

"I am sorry your highness, but I must decline your offer," she said while having an innocent smile her face. The prince looked at her in wonder, because he could not believe what his ears had just heard coming from her mouth. A smile formed on the trees face as it heard does words.

A squirrel rushed over towards the prince and climbed up on his shoulder. The squirrel took off the ring around the prince finger and ran off into the forest. He quickly rushed after the squirrel leaving the maiden alone.
