Meeting the Parents!: Boomer

(Mom): So Y/N,

You: Hmm?

(Mom): Your father & I heard from Arthur that you're in a...relationship.

You: Yeah and?

(Mom): We want to meet him. Tonight.

You: What? Tonight?

(Mom): Yes. Tonight. We hope to see him tonight dear.

Your mom kissed your forehead. You sighed, nodded & left her house.

You: Hey Boom?

Boomer: Yeah?

You: My parents are coming over to meet you tonight at dinner.

Boomer: Huh? They are?

You: Yeah & you better get ready while I make dinner.

Boomer: OK princess.

You kissed his cheeks before getting dinner set up. He smiled & went upstairs.

After dinner was all set up, Boomer came downstairs & the two of you waited for your parents to arrive. You hoped Arthur & Peter would also cone so if something bad happens, they both can back you up.

The doorbell rung & your family just bursted in.

You looked behind your parents & smiled when Arthur & Peter waved at you.

Peter: Hello Boomer!

Boomer: Hey little dude.

(Mom): Is that him Y/N?

You: Yeah. Meet Boomer.

(Mom): Aw~ honey! Look at our daughter's adorable boyfriend.

(Dad): Adorable alright & I can see that he has a way with kids.

Peter smiled at your parents before going back to talking with Boomer.

(Mom): Should we head to dinner?

Peter: What did you make for dinner Y/N?

You: (favorite dinner)

Peter: Hooray!

Peter got up & ran to the dining room, pulling Boomer along with him. Both of your parents shook their head & followed them.

You: I also got tea ready for you, Iggy.

Arthur: Oh thanks but don't call me that.

You giggled before you followed him to the dining room.

(Dad): OK son, one more question.

Boomer nodded & waited for your father to spit it out. You knew what was coming because your mother once told you about your dad being a gamer.

(Dad): Do you play videogames?

Boomer: Yes sir. Y/N & I play videogames when we have the time.

(Dad): You wouldn't mind playing Mortal Combat with me then?

Boomer nodded & the two of them rushed to the living room. Your mother chuckled & helped you clean up with Arthur & Peter went to the living room to watch them both.

While you were washing the dishes, you could hear small conversations between Boomer & your dad which made you smile, knowing that your adorable boyfriend is getting along with your dad.

(Mom): Why don't you & Arthur join Peter in the living room?

You: But-

(Mom): No buts. I'll clean up here. You go.

You both smiled & went to the living room. You sat down between Arthur & Peter.

You watched as your dad lost & smiled.

(Dad): That was great, son.

Boomer: Thank you sir.

Your father shook his hand & welcomed him to the family. Boomer grinned & thanked him again.

Your family left & you & Boomer both became happy that your family liked him.
