I followed quietly behind Sebastian and Grell behind me, right at my heels. It was so dark, we couldn't see a thing. "Anyone got any light?" I whispered. "Here" Grell whispered back, handing Sebastian a lighter. Flicking it on, we could finally see where we were-a long narrow hallway. We began to walk cautiously when we heard a loud 'thud'. "It's coming from upstairs" I whispered. Then suddenly the sound of faint chanting echoed. Sebastian's eyes began to narrow as we quickly began to search for a staircase.

"Hey! I found the stairs!" Grell waved. Sebastian and I rushed over. The screams of a young woman called. "Come on, Sebastian!" I exclaimed, running up the stairs. Sebastian darted past me, coming to a stop. "Sebastian?" I looked into the candle-lit room and there was the tattered remains of a young woman. Grell walked over and knelt down towards her, checking her pulse. "Dead"

"Dammit!" I exclaimed. "Sebastian, search the building. They have to be here somewhere!" Sebastian knelt down on one knee, holding his hand over his heart. "Yes, My Lady" then bolted out of the room, I walked over to the woman while Grell took out his book. "Died at 9:30 PM" he said, then closed the book. Grell then pulled the cord on his chainsaw, firing it up. "What are you doing?" I exclaimed. "Reaping her soul" he responded, striking the body. A film strip started to play, "What is that?" I asked, as pictures of the woman came into view. "Cinematic Records. It's how we Grim Reapers see if a person deserves to live or die, based on his or hers life." I watched in amazement as her life passed right before my eyes. Then as just as soon as it began, it stopped. Sebastian then emerged back into the room.

"Anything?" I asked. "I'm afraid not" he responded. I sighed, we were back where we had started. "However, I did find this, it may be a clue." Sebastian handed me a piece of cloth, on it was a spider, but not just any spider, it was the Trancy Family Crest. "The Trancy Crest?" I asked. Sebastian nodded. "Seems like there's something going on here, and the Trancy's has their hands dirty." I swallowed, "Why the Trancy's of all people?! Corina,...she's my best friend!" I exclaimed.

Sebastian looked at me gently, and I felt the tears beginning to form. "I think it's time to call it a night, we don't want your migraine to return." he smiled. I nodded. Grell stretched. "Well, I better go report back to Will." He turned to me, "Hey, cheer up, darling. Sebastian's got you covered." Then he ran off. I smiled at the Scarlet Reaper's comment and headed home.
