Flights booked for day after tomorrow. I have got my passport ready. Suitcase packed. Everything is ready. I just cannot wait to go and meet her, to see her.

She must be even more beautiful in reality, right? But who cares about the outside beauty when she has a heart so pure and loves me so much.

As I sat on my couch, the doorbell rang.

Peter!

I rushed to the door to take my letter from him.

"Good morning sir!"

"Hello Peter."

"Your letter sir."

"Thank you so much Peter."

"It's my duty sir."

He handed over me the letter and walked away silently.

I went into the house and took out the letter out of the envelope.

As always, I was expecting a letter by Emily but this time it was again a letter bu Aunt Cara.

Dear Stranger,

Hi Jeremy. This is me, Aunt Cara who is writing this letter to you and not Emily. And there is a reason behind it.

Emily has been writing this letter for almost 2 months now and we have no idea if this thing is helping you or not. We have no clue about your recovery and we don't even know if you read these or throw them away. If you do read these then I have a request for you.

Emily is not at all okay. She might write to you that she's fine and enjoying her life and tell you about what all she did but in reality the only thing she does is cry her soul out and think about you. There is rarely a day when she hasn't cried or talked about you. She had even thought of committing suicide a few months back but then somehow she stopped herself.

Your absence has affected her both physically and mentally. She has lost nearly 7 kg of weight and is never mentally present with us.

I just want you to come here once and meet her even if you don't remember a thing. Just let her see you, touch you so that she gains some strength because you are her strength.

Not just this, this recent incident has affected her body functioning and there is something seriously wrong now. I don't know what it is.

Please just come here and meet her.

She loves you more than anyone could ever do.

Yours

Cara

I am so sorry Aunt Cara! I am so sorry Emily! Only if I could rectify my mistakes; only if I could take away your pain.

But I'll be there for you Emily - to carry you bridal style.
